Terrible service, my hair was drenched in products, she didn’t even part my hair correctly. And attitude on anither level . Plus charged me $30 extra she claimed my hair was wet which was not all. I will never go to dry bar again !

I hate Drybar Ventura. Drybar LA County is okay. I love Drybar Orange County. This Topanga location is actually good service requested with positive quality and a good vibe.

Unfortunately I don't recommend this place. The guy in the reception was very unpleasant. They give you a feeling as if they want to rush you and get you out quick... they aren't on time Not so friendly.. the parking lot is far from the entrance I don't think I will be coming back in the future.

Super bummed to write a bad review. The people here were just so incredibly rude. Never offered water. Moved my head while hair was being washed when my neck started to hurt and was chastised. Place was pretty gross with dust and hair. I have a broken ankle and asked if I could put my foot up somewhere. No one made any attempts to accommodate or help. I finally put my foot on the edge of the counter and was once again scolded in such a rude way and asked to leave the chair. Not accommodating at all. Ordered an extra scalp massage, they didn't do it. One person in our party had a good experience with a kind stylist. But the other stylists could barely be bothered to make eye contact with us. Just talked to each other, complaining about customers from the previous day. Just really disappointing and unprofessional. I'd try a different location.

BEWARE OF “Layla or Leila” not sure how it’s spelled but if you have 3c, 4c hair or anything similar to black hair do not expect her to do the job. I have patronized this location for years and been fine with stylist doing a good job but mid way through doing my daughters hair she had the receptionist who has a complete attitude, call me ! They stated that my teens hair was knotted and they couldn’t do it after it was conditioned and halfway blown out at the top of her head!! She is 14 was highly embarrassed and upset that this over 60 year old woman treated her this way. I came in the salon to see the “issue” and couldn’t find one single knot she is just inexperienced and racist. Yes guys racism in hair exist and permeates in Los Angeles there is no such thing as black and brown. The browns including the front desk are participants! Layla” did not try one bit she gave up. I can only imagine if someone with thicker coarse hair comes in and has to have her touch the comb. She makes this place look bad! I emailed the manager and will escalate this. We may even file a lawsuit that’s how disgusted we are! Stand by

No doubt this franchise initially was rigged for failure back when hundreds of drybars suddenly sprung up around the country. Pre-Covid and recession, it was a great idea that was challenged by the fact that the ownership and creators of the brand expected full blowouts to get done within half an hour (including shampooing).
Stylists of any value would leave within a few months; of course, your appointments always ran late, and yet you lost your appointment if you dared to be more than eight minutes late in Los Angeles traffic. It was upside down, and insane.
Where I’m going with this five star review is that of the few DryBar’s remaining in Southern California post Covid, you’ve either seen the new ownership step up and create LOVELY salon spaces still worth investing in, or they fail miserably.
This particular space remains a breath of fresh air, great stylists, caring management, and they actually communicate if for any reason they’re running a little bit behind.
In other words, they remember that customer business and loyalty is what a salon is about, and they treat you with respect.
About three months ago, I had been talked into signing up for their “barfly” program over in the Burbank location – one that I’ve already given negative reviews to due to their lack of courtesy.
After convincing me to sign up for this program, every single appointment I made was canceled out last minute, due to Stylists not showing up. Their manager (Luke) never returns calls, and the phone is never answered, so you really don’t have a shot at communicating with a human being if something goes awry. As it did often with this location.
I’ve since changed my loyalty to the awesome crew at the Topanga location (Adam is snr manager, Alejandra their phenom asst manager); and while it’s a 25 minute drive versus 5 minute drive, it’s become worth it for the quality of stylists and the consistency of service.
Also, parking is super easy as they have spaces all along the storefront. Definitely a plus in Southern California.
If you find yourself needing a great blowout in this post covid world, this is a great little salon.

I really love this location. Adam at the front desk is so sweet and the stylists are really special. I used to see Desiree before she switched to the Vegas location and now I ask for the lovely Leila. Happy with my experiences so far!

I am visiting from out of town. Had the worst blowout here! She was asking me if she should shampoo twice and questions that didn’t make me feel confident about her ability. I told her I wanted a middle part. It came out really bad to me. I usually get 2 blowouts a week at home. This ruined a meeting for me . I left a 6$ tip it was horrible :’( I didn’t say anything when I left because she was right next to the desk. I did not feel comfortable. She was frustrated not nice. I called and store manager said they could have fixed it but now they’ll just notate that. He said she is best usually but I had not great experience. He said it is dry bar way to ask if should wash hair more than once with shampoo or should she wash the roots or ends with conditioner. Manager said he can’t help 5 days later. I literally have another amazing review at another location. I had important meeting and the only way to fix that is rewash & dry my hair which I would not have done. My hair would go back to same part. I specifically asked for middle part when I came in. If I could have just moved the part why would I complain. Terrible vibe and resolution . I’ll go somewhere else for blowout

I love this DryBar. All of the hairdressers are super nice and do an excellent job. I go at least twice a month with my membership and it makes my life so much easier.

I have become a proud regular at this specific drybar location for years. I have worked with almost everyone there. Everyone is super nice and professional! The service is amazing, they are very efficient and do an amazing job with your hair. I have very oily hair but after a visit at drybar, my hair stays looking fantastic for a while until my next hair wash day.
The store is super clean and they usually have a movie on the tv so you can be entertained while being pampered. Their products are super good too! I highly recommend the crown tonic if you have a dry scalp or the cure liqcure if you struggle from split ends or damaged hair.
This is the perfect place to go to for if you need your hair done for a special occasion or if you just want to treat yourself. They do offer you water, champagne, or mimosas too so it is pretty high end service.
I highly recommend you make an appointment at least 24 hours beforehand to secure your spot because it does get busy sometimes. It is super easy to make an appointment, you could either make it online or just call them. They always pick up the phone and they're super nice helping you make your appointment.
Adam, the manager is super nice! All of the stylists are amazing but a couple I recommend are Desiree, Saige, or Alejandra.

Terrible location. Changed my appointment without notifying me. The manager Adam was very very rude to me and I will never be coming back here again.
