I felt compelled to write an outstanding review of Boething Treeland and recognize the exceptional customer experience I received in dealing with this nursery. I called yesterday, in search of a tree to replace one that had gotten diseased in our back yard. We have a whole row of trees that are uniform and one in the middle died and left a gaping hole in our privacy layer shielding us from our neighbors home. This tree is very rare and hard to find (Dwarf Carolina Cherry Laurel (Prunus caroliniana 'Compacta'), especially this time of year, and in the "perfect size" and height. I called Boething and Paul answered the call. He was helpful and very attentive from the start. He immediately knew what I was looking for, and even explained to me that there are different "strains" of the Carolina Cherry Laurel...something no one ever told me. He clearly knows his trees! He asked me to send a photo and one close-up with the leaves. He immediately texted me back and said it was the "dwarf" version. He then sourced it on-site and immediately sent me photos of two healthy trees. The price was EXTREMELY low and very reasonable. The tree was gorgeous, and perfection! The only downfall for us is the fact that we need to pick-it-up b/c we are outside their delivery zone, which is understandable. We will need to drive to Woodland Hills from South County OC and renting a truck (a 6 hour round trip). This may affect our decision ultimately...but I did feel compelled to recognize the exceptional service, pricing, quality, and responsiveness I received from Boething and Paul. We are considering a crepe myrtle too, so I will be bookmarking Boething and def. call again!!

What a great nursery. We stopped by to pick out three large crape myrtles and shrubs for a planting area. Their supply of trees and plants is fantastic, and we were able to get everything we hoped for same-day. The staff, especially Ernie, were so helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone, and we’ll be back for any future planting needs!

I recently paid 160 dollars for a redbud and two eight foot stakes.When I brought it home I discovered that it had a badly bent trunk. They apologized and offered to replace it without any additional cost, delivered the new one, and planted it. I am very happy with their customer service and recommend them to anyone I know.

I highflying recommend Heather at Boething! I had a general idea of what I wanted but I couldn't have put it all together without Heather. She took her time with me and walked me around the nursery to show me which plants she thought would work for the different areas in my front yard. She is so knowledgeable, friendly and easy to work with. I even emailed her a couple of questions and she promptly answered them all. When it's time to do the backyard I'll definitely go back and ask for Heather.

I don't normally write reviews but this one is warranted. I purchased two trees from Boething Treeland. One did not do well and had to be replaced. I went back to Boething for help about this. The manager named Ernesto went above and beyond to help me and make the situation right. What great customer service that is so rare today. I would not go anywhere else for landscape.

The staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable about all types of plants and trees. Their selection is also unmatched in this area, having acres of just about anything one can imagine.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff at Boething Treeland Nursery, Woodland Hills. Paul walked us all through the expansive grounds to locate exactly what we needed. They even helped us load all the plants in our truck. Great quality plants at a fair price. #1 shrubs at $12.50, #5 at $34.50, and #15 trees at $134. More expensive than the big box stores but, the plants are bigger and better cared for. The selection can’t be beat. If you are picky about what you want to plant, this is the place to go.

Wonderful customer service! I called looking for a very specific tree that I just can’t seem to find- naked coral tree. The lady that answered the phone was very helpful and took time to educate me on why they’re hard to find. She also gave me the name of another nursery I can try and said I might have better luck checking the nurseries in San Diego.

Wide variety of out/indoor trees. Very helpful staff and they are very knowledgeable about the trees. And they helped us determine what kind of trees we need for privacy around our backyard looking at the pictures. I highly recommend them

August Update: No response from owners. planning on pulling the dead tree and returning it to the front of the store for a photo shoot. Everyone should know the poor service and serious lack of concern for the products by this business. It's sad when you try to shop local and realize the reason why to shop the big box store ...We've had better pricing, service and products at Home Depot which is a pretty low nursery bar so think about that before you go here. We completely updated our landscaping and our landscaper recommended Boething. The trees and plants purchased here were in bad shape and many had to be replaced. Seven months later we have a dead tree as the focus of our beautiful yard. So we selected replacement plants from other nurseries and they are thriving. I wish Boething cared more about supporting their products. The people I spoke to seemed helpless and rude. Finally spoke to Ernie, a manager, about the issues on July 6 without a response. Yeah sure you might get a good price for a plant and it will cost you. Our plants had fungus and the large tree costing $1500 died within a week. When I called to ask for help to save the tree and they didn't care one bit offering zero help. After speaking to multiple landscapers trying to get our tree replaced they refused to do business at Boething Treeland.

Excellent nursery with great customer service and selection. Paul walked us through the grounds to locate everything on our list. Their prices may be a little higher but, you get what you pay for in high quality plants, great selection, and friendly, knowledgeable service. Well worth our 2 hour drive to get here.
