The service was decent they were very vague on details didn't want to let me know what parts were going into my carOnce my car was "fixed" I took it home drove it for 1hr and the problem came back which is honestly sucks when you're paying over two grand I wouldn't recommend anyone going to this place avoid it at all cost I am having the same problem again that I went to get supposedly fixed with them AVOID IT!!!

Gus is the man! I’d recently done some work on my old truck and couldn’t get the carburetor dialed in, and through a referral called. We set up an appointment to drop off, and believe it or not, it all got addressed in about 20 minutes. No truck left in a parking lot and no sweat for Gus. Thank you again, brother!!!

Charlie MARCOTTE and his staff are top of the line professionals - theirs is an impressive work ethic. All three of my cars are in their cars. This past week my wife's 2018 Honda Odyssey needed brake work and a safety inspection. Several months ago Allen HARTMAN had ordered the parts in advance of my early morning appointment this past week. Katy & Mr HARTMAN greeted me warmly and my wife then dropped me at home and left for a previous commitment. 2 1/2 hours later Mr HARTMAN called that my wife's Odyssey was ready. I did not have transportation but Mr HARTMAN sent an Uber to take me to their shop. Katy & Mr HARTMAN - thank you very much for your outstanding personal attention to detail and excellent work on Cindy's Odyssey.

I really can't say enough about how I appreciate Gus. He backed up a problem with a quick solution and in a time effective manner. I brought in a used Jeep to have an inspection prior to making the purchase. It needed new rear brakes and they replaced them. The center caps on the wheels were over torqued causing them to come off when I drove the vehicle home. I contacted Gus and explained the situation. He was extremely apologetic. He made it a number one priority. He found the replacement caps online and they were sent to my home. It's nice to find a business owner that values customer service.

APA Automotive replaced the engine in my 2018 Kia Forte with a new engine. This was at a huge savings from the dealer's quote. Gus guarantees his work and got the job done perfectly. I no longer have that uneasy feeling going to the Dealer. Gus doesn't sell you what you don't need! Rare find! I trust Gus and will bring my other car for service too.

Fantastic, honest, affordable and friendly service. Recommended by one of my Jeep owner neighbors. Long story short, I had to replace both drive lines/shafts on my lifted Jeep Wrangler. At first, we tried to replace just the CV joint at the center. While that worked for maybe a week or two, the shaking continued. Gus was always upfront and honest with me, and advised me to fully replace both. After ordering and receiving the parts online, I came back and the guys installed it all within one day. She drives beautifully smooth right now and I'll certainly be back if I need any other repairs/upgrades in the future.

The name on his shirt read Cruz, but it could have said Einstein. The genius that is inherent in a brilliant mechanic is as crucial to my world as a quantum mechanics doctorate is to the universe. Hell, I love my car - especially this old 2001 Infiniti QX4 that ferries food to the homeless for my non-profit, The Man/Kind Project. I decided to give this great little place a try. They were in the neighborhood, and for 30 years I had been driving by this corner that is just north of Jim's market on Fallbrook. I met the owner, Gus, and he was as you would expect - not too busy to talk to a new customer. I described the problem like I write Yelp reviews. Using too many words. Gus understood, and told me that I had bought the wrong part on eBay. He didn't up-sell me or try to swerve me into something I didn't need. He just gave me some friendly advice. Well taken and it worked.And what of the repairs? Done perfectly, the same day I left the car off, and for a price that I would hazard to say is on the low side of fair.I've found a new mechanic for my cars, and I can even walk home.
