Knowing what goes on behind the scenes, I KNOW the people of Woodacre get the best possible service. In talking to residents of this community, I think they would agree. I just wish more people would post reviews to offset the few with an ax to grind.

If you really want your packages or letters - don't use this place! I have lived her 32 years. We have gone through a number of Post Masters and clerks. I don't know what it is, but we just can never get our packages, and many of the letters we get are not even to our po box! I always try and use an alternate method so I know my package will for sure be delivered to my front door, but if the shipper uses the USPS - it's a crap shoot. Today I had the infamous "yellow slip" in my box - meaning I have a package sitting on their shelf (instead of an outside box to hold it). So now I have to call and ask the clerk to "please put the package in an outside box." My husband goes in and guess what!??? No package. This is the second time this particular female clerk has done this to me. She confirms she is putting it in the outside box, and then does not do it! OMG. And don't ever think they will just automatically put the package out like you have had to call in the last 32 years, nope, you still have to call each time - because there is just not enough boxes for everyone's packages, so you will need to call us each time you get a "yellow slip" instead of your package - of course, so that you now have to call to get your package - that may or may not be put in the outside locker. Mother Mary!

I'm very disappointed in the current postmaster William Gossy. He was unhelpful, aggressive and tried to extort double payment.

Had to add an update as there have been many changes at the Woodacre Post Office in the last 2 years, positive changes! Haven't had any problems with packages, current staff is friendly and helpful and not at all hostile.

Great Customer Service, Most people write Reviews when they are angry with a Service..., But there is Nothing to complain about. From warm, smiling faces, to a warm place to do business. I chose to live out of the way off the beaten path, a small Post Office, P.O. Boxes, working hours... All come with the turf. Thanks to all the Postal Clerks serving the San Geronimo Valley, for running a quaint, always clean inside and out.. the occasional miss filed letter, and sometime hard to find box, is all part of the charm and provides the opportunity to get to meet our postal workers.

They won't deliver your mail. People pay the same postage, but don't get what they pay for. Everyone in Woodacre has to go to the post office to get their mail, AND pay $90 per year for the luxury. So much for the "through snow, dark of night.." bs. Businesses love to delete p.o. boxes and send to street adresses, even if you tell them not to. When this happens, your mail magically "dissapears". Some people/websites refuse to mail to p.o. boxes alltogether. Mail often ends up in other peoples boxes. Ask anyone in Woodacre. Happens all the time. If you can't get there during open hours to get your package for a while, they look you right in the eye and say "We sent it back because you took too long". Did I mention they're closed for lunch too? The customer service varies depending on who you get. Often, they are not very nice, literate, intelligent, etc.. Overall the usps experience in Woodacre stinks. Makes me jealous of people with mailboxes. ps The houses in Woodacre are not that spread out. I don't understand why we are subjected to this sub-standard service.

Fast and Prompt service with good handling of multiple customers at once. Diligent in there work ethic and very honest people. Very good the the surrounding people.

Postmaster is unhelpful & unfriendly. Used to be a warm service-oriented PO. Now it is staffed by indifferent people who are out of touch with our community.
