I actually had a good experience crossing both directions. After reading a lot of reviews, I was actually worried about a hassle getting back into the US, but the guy who processed me was super nice and friendly. I also was coming back across around 10:30am, and so there was no line.

We crossed the border today to go to Mexico. Everybody treated us very well, when we re entered the US.We as Germans needed help. And we got it. We have been treated very kind and politely and got what we needed.ManyThanks to the Border Team.

We cross here exclusively because of the fast processing times.

The “women” here are so power hungry. They get a big attitude and their responses were rude and blunt. At first everything was fine . Then she started to get all sassy when asking me questions. Oh, but let me tell you when it came to talking to the guys in the car, she was super sweet and had a whole change of tone in her voice .I didn’t get her name or badge number, but she was a little short Hispanic with shorts on .

The police were very nice at the port of entry. No problems ?. Went to the purple pharmacy and bought meds for a year! Was a fraction of the cost of Safeway and Walgreens using goodrx. Thankful. Marlboro cigs were inly $46/cartons

I was coming to get some bottles for a Quince and personal use and was told that it was up to the officer if he allowed me to pay and let me through and he made me go back to Mexico and leave my purchase. What upsets me is that in the past I've know people who have purchased way more than what I have and they allowed them to pay the dues and I was not allowed too.

Unlike the port into Mexico which is most welcoming, the U.S. Customs side is an hour long wait and a hassle. Border agents are rude and surly. They make you feel like a criminal, and heaven help you if you don't stand in the _exact_ spot they demand of you. So pay attention to where the person in front of you stands when they get up to the counter.

Didn't have the long wait to cross from Mexico to USA. The agents send people in groups and seems to make the line move quicker.

Great, friendly staff. Bring $38 cash! If you are early in the morning they may not have change.Very simple process. Doesn't take long as long as internet is working.

definitely could use more staff, but it’s like that just about everywhere. once thru the line as a pedestrian, was quick and easy with my driver license and birth certificate

...the facility is run very efficiently. Staffed by very professional folks. The way into Mexico is either by foot, park on the American side, and just walk by the immigration folks on the Mexican side. If you drive into Mexico same thing. No formalities. Just drive on in. On the way back there is a long line to get through immigration and customs. Have to declare what you are bringing ito the States. They are very professional indeed. Driving back is exactly the same as walking back, but you remain in your car and present other passport and declare what you are bringing back at the booth. Quick and easy.

Awful. Nobody picks up a phone. They kept my brother at the boarder for days with no access to a phone. Can’t get a hold of anybody. Skip this port at all cost!

Sucks. The line was HUGE, I was in it for hours in the miserable heat with nothing but beggar pain handler locals trying repeatedly to sell us their pointless items in hand. It was hard to keep denying them, so I gave one a few.dollars and then they all flocked on me. Even bringing their infant children and school aged children to use as bait to get $ from us. It was so sad. Verging on extortion of those poor children. That shouldnt be allowed. Then finally when inside the building, they question you about everything, go through all your receipts and treat you like you are hiding things. That was my experience when I finished my sinus lift close to 10pm. That particular time there was no line and I had ran to make it, after just having woken up from surgery so I was a bit disheveled. The guy was interrogating me, as if he didnt believe me. I had bloody gauze in my mouth, what was the mystery?? Maybe it was just him but the long slow moving lines in the miserable heat make it a hard 1 or 2 stars, being generous.

Smooth operation. They do close for lunch so be prepared. BRING A PASSPORT IF YOU WANT TO GET INTO THE USA. A driver's license from a US state is not good enough and will cause a huge hassle for everyone.
