It's Safeway. While just a Safeway, the people here are pretty pleasant.Update 5/31/22: Still the same Safeway.

It's really hard to beat their club card prices. However, it can be crowded. The best part about this Safeway is that it stays open until 1 am and opens at 5 am. McDonalds is the only place that is open 24/7 in this town. Happy Donuts opens at 4 am, but I auctually prefer the donuts at Safeway.

Well I don't shop for a family of four . Just s single old man that needs some food stubbs for a meal and a snack . The stores convenient just a few miles down the road from me . And it as just about everything I need to serve me. The place as a bank . A Starbucks Nice bakery and a prepared meals already packaged and ready to go. Even the produce so it makes it easy for me . I like to cashiers very friendly good service always treat you nicely and you can always seem to get up a flirt or a conversation s with a cute lady . The cashiers are always willing to strike up a conversation. . So it adds to a little bit of community to your daily life.. store is always clean well stocked and has just about everything.

Would love it if this location would offer a better sushi selection. I travel all over the county for work and often stop by Safeway to get lunch. Why does the Windsor Safeway only offer a bunch of imitation crab rolls, poorly rolled with a ton of rice. All of the other locations around the county have tuna, salmon, and always offer a fresh variety of sushi. Please consider putting some energy towards the sushi counter.

Dec 9, 2023 Safeway, Windsor, CA The vegetable spray that RAINS down on the vegetables soaks them - the system is decades old and I do not even know if the water is clean which is flooding the vegetable stand there - Why by organic if the water is tainted? I got splashed just standing next to the vegetables and red beet juice from the soaked beets got on my white shirt and sweater. Even the people who work t here state that it is an ancient system - and needs to be upgraded. Never again - not until you renovate your vegetable area - update it. (and try selling more actual FOOD in your store instead of 20 aisles of nonfood. )

I'm not a thin skin kind of guy. I'm a proud Mexican born and raised leaving in the USA for 3 years now. It's the first time living in this beautiful country that I feel discriminated because of my national origin. @safeway you have to do a better job educating your staff in customer service and most importantly on the equal treatment that all human beings in this country deserve. My experience today was awful and I feel impotent. I have been dealing with some itchiness in my left eye so I needed to buy eye drops, once I got to the cashier who's name is Cory and tried to pay the item said "not for sale" so he called her supervisor (who's name I don't have now) for guidance, she replied "if it says not for sale we can't sell" to what my response was "what's the solution for this case? You have the item displayed on your eye drops section" she replied "no solution, I can't sell you this item". That was surprising for me, I'm a Director of Operations for the fastest growing company of ice cream in the North Bay (Angela's Organic Ice Cream) and I know perfectly about customer experience. But the most disgusting part happened right after when I wanted to pay for a six pack of beer, the cashier asked me for my ID and I gave it to him, he said "Oh no, we don't accept Mexican id's" than he showed the woman supervisor who previously didn't give a solution for my need of buying eye drops. To what she said "oh no we don't take Mexican ids, that might be accepted for employment but not for buying beer". Besides being a Director of Operations for a company I'm a proud lawyer and I know my rights perfectly. Please educate your staff, I want a public apology as soon as possible, I feel extremely frustrated.

This is strictly for the Pharmacy. I will not go into detail but The pharmacist is rude and hates people. She has a scowl on her face all the time. I know this from previous pickups but it never affected me UNTIL. She lied about filling my prescription and then when I went to pick it up she lied again and told me I was not there the day before and would not fill my script. Needless to say I let her have it and will never fill there again. I had to call the store mgr and while he tried to help, it was a failure. At this point I just may not food shop there anymore. I don't deal well with liars................. and ther is no call to lie to customers.

Starbucks doesn’t even fill their drinks to the top. Looks like someone took a couple sips before giving it to me lol
