My camper suspension started making bad noises as I was headed to the coast. I figured I needed to get it looked at before getting to the winding roads over the hills and along the seaside. I tried calling around some places to see if I could get in on short notice.
Even though it was a Saturday shortly before closing time, Steve said he'd take a look at it. He interrupted the job he was working on. Diagnosed the issue quickly. Tightened up the sway bar, and got me back on the road within 10 minutes.
I really appreciate him helping me out in a pinch!

I brought my car to Steve Blackmore because the emergency brake light wouldn’t turn off. He told me that it just needed the brake fluid topped off, but also that I needed a water pump replace which cost $1000. After the work was done he used the words “your car is safe to drive” when I asked about my brakes.
3 days later my brakes failed and when I went back to him he denied ever looking at my brakes or that I had even brought my car to him with a question about my brakes.
Steve Blackmore is a dishonest mechanic, and an unethical business owner.

Steve Blackmore is a mechanic's mechanic. Some mechanics can fix anything. Steve is one of those people.The radiator of my 2012 Subaru sprang a leak while I was visiting Santa Rosa. None of the two Subaru repair places were open on Saturday. I called him on Saturday morning and described the problem. He said to come over and that he could probably fix the coolant leak. I brought it to his location in Santa Rosa, not Windsor early Saturday morning. I left the car with him. He installed a new radiator, hoses and clamps. The repairs were completed by 4 PM Saturday. I drove the car home to Oakland without any problems at all. Steve was pleasant to deal with and honored the estimate he gave me early Saturday morning. it doesn't get any better than that.

This man completely ruined my dreams of having a classic car restored. Steve Blackmore is a con artist who will lie to your face and tell you “Everything will be ok” I paid him and my car was never touched. Car ended up in the tow yard. Avoid this man like the plague. Not sure how he has such high reviews…Services: Engine repair

Great service, honest hard workers, owner explains what my car needs well so I feel reassured and informed. Even with automotive parts supply chain issues they do really well and they keep my car running with high quality parts. Recently got my entire AC updated from old style to new style and it’s amazing! They’ve been my mechanic for almost ten years and three vehicles :)

Amazing service as always, hard working and ethical. I've had multiple vehicles repaired by them over the last 7 years, Steve always explains what my vehicle needs and why, installs the best parts and does amazing battling the massive supply chain issues mechanics face currently. I've never met a shop more knowledgeable about such a vast assortment of vehicles, I appreciate not having to "find a new mechanic" just because I get a different type of car. He's worked on things for me that are foreign and domestic, year 66 to 2010 and the repairs are always long lasting, i really appreciate when they repair other components near the broken thing to prevent me from having to spend a lot of labor later on to get to the same area! It's very comprehensive. Cars Aren't built to last anymore and we pay for the service they provide so we have to take care of it and he takes that part of the stress out of owning vehicles for me.

I needed an oil change. Got an appointment the next day. They did the service and didn't try to upsell me. In fact, when they finished, they said, "Looks great. I checked all your filters and fluids, and they all look fine. You've got a scheduled maintenance in 30,000 miles, but I can't imagine you'll need it." The price was reasonable, and the service was quick. Great place for an oil change.
