After deciding to update/remodel our 20yr old kitchen & bathrooms, we were pleased to come across Kevin O’Connor Designs. His years of experience in both the cabinetry industry and qualifications & certifications in kitchen/bath remodeling, provided us the confidence to move forward with these projects. Kevin provided an easy, natural progression of steps to allow our plans to take shape. His eye for detail & design really helped put us at ease as we bounced many ideas around. Kevin’s professionalism & on point guidance made this design process much less stressful or worrisome than may have otherwise occurred if doing this on our own. As with these types of projects…, it’s nice to “know a guy” & we found our guy. Thanks Kevin!

Kevin O'Connor Design is superior. We needed a complete remodel of our kitchen with remodeling that extended into other living areas yet didn't have a clear concept in our head. Kevin spent the needed time to learn about my wife and I, our home, our living space and what we envisioned. He listened well and picked-up and subtle details others probably would have missed. Our schedules are busy, and Kevin was patient with preliminary plans, patient with us, yet kept the ball rolling forward. Plan choices initially provided where spectacular and we clearly landed on a general idea which Kevin refined to match our interests.
Kevin is personal, professional and talented. We would not have landed with the design concept for our home without him. We would highly recommend Kevin and Kevin O'Connor Design for your remodel needs.

Kevin has been great to work worth. He communicates very well, delivers high quality work and very detailed designs. As a contractor, I cannot emphasize enough how working with such detailed and descriptive drawings makes our work easier, thus saving the client money during construction and preventing delays. If you're looking for a designer, Kevin is the best around.

We could not be happier with Kevin O’Connor and the design work he did for our upcoming remodel. We had done our own design on a kitchen remodel in our last home about 15 years ago and thought we did a good job. So with this remodel, we thought we could do the same thing – do the design ourselves and save some money on a designer. But we quickly got in over our heads. Enter Kevin to save the day! Not only did he help us work through some of the obstacles that we could not figure out on our own, he came up with some other ideas that really tied the whole thing together. We are SUPER pleased with the result.We also very much enjoyed his process. Several in-home meetings, followed by some virtual meetings and phone calls. But best of all was the virtual rendering of the design with the ability to walk through the design using virtual reality (VR) goggles (Meta Quest). Not only was it SUPER COOL to get a preview of the “to-be” remodel in VR 3D, we were also able to make design decisions that we likely would not have occurred to us by just staring at a set of blueprints.Attached are some “as-is” and “to-be” pictures.Bottom line – we *thought* we had an eye for design and wanted to save some money by not hiring a designer. Kevin was worth every penny we spent making sure we maximized all the opportunities for a next level living space.Thank you Kevin! Kevin was delightful to work with on my kitchen remodel. I was amazed at how Kevin was able to create several plans using his design programs. To see the progress on the computer screen was awesome. I knew I had wasted space that could be put to better use such as updated cabinets, spacious drawers, more lighting, and much more counter space. With Kevin’s expertise, he came up with several designs for 3 different plans. Working together we chose one, I now have a spacious beautiful kitchen that I truly love. It’s better than I ever dreamed. Kevin is the best!

This is our second time using Kevin for our kitchen and bathroom design. Can’t say enough good things about him. He thinks of solutions and comes up with ideas for tricky layouts. Spent a lot of time with us in person, over the phone and zoom. Every detail was talked about and discussed with alternate options, including lighting, electrical placement, etc. His attention to every detail was beyond my expectations. He personally helped me order cabinets which was a language I didn’t know existed and I’m so grateful he helped me place the order. I’m so happy we hired Kevin again and our kitchen wouldn’t have been this amazing without him! I love our kitchen and our bathroom!Services: Room planning
