I was concerned after reading reviews but I can say this place is good for fast food Chinese. It was fresh, hot and had lots of flavor. I got the Spicy Garlic Chicken and black pepper chicken. They give your lots of food and service was fast. I will be back!

Having just moved here, my family and I are not quite knowledgeable on the good eating spots yet. We were in the mood for some Chinese Food and saw that Cathay Chinese Food wasn't to far away from our home and could deliver. We saw that the reviews weren't too bad and decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately, it was not very good. The chicken sides (spicy garlic chicken, and jalapeño chicken) were pretty good at 3.5/5, even though my son said he couldn't taste the difference between the two and thought they had given us the same chicken for both. The BBQ pork on the other hand was a solid 1/5. It was dry, chewy, and tasted old. The noodles were soft enough but had almost no taste. The only other item that was pretty good was the fried rice. Other then that we were extremely disappointed. We will not be ordering or eating from here again. Maybe we just got a bad/old batch. Either way wish this restaurant nothing but goodness.

This place is absolutely wonderful! I had the best experience! The employees were amazing and so kind! I definitely will be back! A young lady helped me and she was fantastic!

This chinéese food was the worst mistake I’ve ever made in my life. Do not eat here!The quality of the food was so cheap. Everything I tasted was old and unseasoned!The price is outrageous for what it is.Please do not eat here.

The 1st time my food was cold the 2nd time i got 1 sm piece of beef in my broccoli beef and 3 tidbits of chicken in the mushroom chicken. Probably won't visit again.

It’s under new management. We bought take out around 7pm on Tuesday. The food was cold. The food taste is not the same.

Not my favorite place for fast Chinese food. Prices are high and the food doesn't justify the cost. I will be back for lunch with the work crew, but not something I'd go out of my way for.

I have eaten there food several time through the years, it always had a good taste. The last 2 months that has changed. SAtaff wants you in and out, food is disgusting.....

Always an amazing experience at Cathays. The staff is extremely polite and the food is always fresh and delicious. Highly recommend a visit to Cathays Chinese Food!

Love this place! Always friendly service and great food! Items I've tried: egg rolls, cream cheese wontons, orange chicken, lo mein, fried rice, mushroom chicken, and beef and broccoli. I do wish they had some of the items you can special order out with the daily selections, maybe a rotation on certain days. Like the walnut shrimp. :)

Been going here for years. Love the food and the service. The friendly lady at the checkout is always so nice. The fresh veggie won ton soup is our fave.
