Had the best time thrifting in and around Los Angeles on a Thursday. Every store was well stocked and they continued to announce new items being brought out to the floor. Staff was friendly. Will definitely be coming back.

The good:I found a coffee table here that I'm now using for my courtyard. It's definitely cheaper than what I would've paid if I bought it new or even on fb marketplace. This is a smaller goodwill. It's organized and well kept. More than half the store is for clothes. The bad:The coffee table was missing a metal spoke in the back. The cashier said she'd ask the manager for a discount but the manager said no. Outside of the coffee table, I didn't see many interesting home goods. I'm usually most interested in the plates, pots and vases section but there weren't a lot of great options here. There were very few toys. The interesting:I grew up shopping at goodwill with my dad. Today, I still have a raggedy Ann doll with backwards legs that my dad got for me from goodwill.

One of the smaller locations from these stores. At the time of my visit, it was not at its best. I don't expect boutique look, but everything on it's hangers would nice. In the houseware sections, lots of things were just stacked on top of each other. Now I understand space it limited and I will still stop by this location when I'm in the neighbor, after my work. I've found lots of treasures at Goodwill Stores and love them all.

Literally in tears rn. I filled up my cart with a grip of stuff probably at least $100.00 worth of stuff. I walked in probably at 6:30pm I tried on some stuff. I decided to try a couple more items because the lady said they close in an hour. I go to ask her to unlock the dressing room door and she says the dressing room closed at 7pm. It was 7:24pm. I explained that I just wanted to try on some things before I bought it. She then say, you not just going to try on all this stuff and not buy it right? I walked in with $150.00. smh bad job Goodwill.

Price strategy is the most important resource for companies to increase their competitive advantage. They have spent years achieving gains through cost cutting, outsourcing, process re-engineering, and adoption of innovative technologies. However, the incremental benefits from this is diminishing, and companies need to look at other areas to improve their business results. Today, some companies, such as Goodwill, even embrace policies and pricing strategies that drive away their best customers, and then they wonder why their profits are not growing. Example, I'm at the register for checkout, and all of a sudden an item I have chossen to purchace with all of the other products, has no price. The cashier then has to call for a price check, and an employee from the back donation area has to come up front, take the item all the way to the back to price it with a sticker, then turn around and come back to the front with it priced, and in the hopes that I want it or not has now just waisted my time, their time, and the other waiting customers time in line. That is a horrible way to handle this and customer's.
