I worked here in 1977-79. Back then it was rotating shift. Days, swing, graveyard, and spot shift. Best job that paid 7.25$ an hour. Graveyard paid more. This job prepared me to be a tankerman in the harbor. Retired 35 yrs of tankerman. Loved that job.

Crazy security. They rejected two deliveries ahead of me then called the Police on the drivers trying to deliver. False 911 calls and interfering in interstate commerce is a crime.

Large older manufacturing plant on waterfront dealing in Borax chemicals. If picking up load by big truck, you must go through security checkpoint and enter tight access road to loading dock. Tight, and only room for a couple of trucks. Heavy outbound loads. Must slide tandems, wear safety vest and hard hat.
