It's crazy how multiple people have told me if I need Volkswagen parts relics is the place. I showed up to try to buy parts and I was greeted by a man saying that I could only shop by appointment. He told me to call the number I called the number and no answer. I texted the number also no one answered. I sent them a message on Instagram and I didn't get a reply. As a Volkswagen owner, it would be great to be able to go here and shop since it's local.

Each time I take my 1974 Super Beetle (Dug) to Relic, he comes out improved. In the course of replacing the starter yesterday, Aaron discovered a damaged engine case bolt and replaced it. In a previous visit, Dug got a new dashboard! I so appreciate Relic's attention to the mechanics AND the beautification of this amazing VW.

my buggy was there 6 months, after it being there 4 months and leaving a dozen phone messages(no one answers the phone)I went to get it to take it to someone else. Alisa, the owner assured me it would be done in a week, after a dozen more calls and about 6 weeks my daughter and son-in law started stopping in and eventually she started communicating with me and eventually got it done. I don't know yet if it is right I only was able to drive it 10 minutes before a non related drive train issue.

My wife and I left Anaheim on Saturday morning (today) to go to Temecula to visit some wineries. My 71 VW Ghia started having issues on the Ortega Highway. The engine started cutting out. We made it down the hill and almost to the 15. The engine died completely. We were 14 minutes from a VW shop called Relic. It would start and run for 30 seconds and then quit. We sat for an hour and the engine started up and we went straight to Relic. We made it. They didn't know us from Adam, and they stopped what they were doing because we were from out of town, and they wanted to get us back on the road. The issue was a bear to deal with and even on test drives, the team would run out to push us back when it failed. Not only did they fix the issue, but they tuned the dual carbs as well, and pointed out other little issues I should look into when I have time. To make this story even more amazing, their best friend, and mechanic, had just past away a week earlier and all his family and friends were arriving at the shop to celebrate his life. They called their friends to take over the organizing of the food and drinks for the party because they were focused on my car. People started arriving, but they kept working. They do their late friend an honor by caring for out-of-towners like us. If you read this review and stop by their shop, tell them James says HI. (Orange and white stripped Ghia)

I received great help on my VW restoration project. Prices are very reasonable for repairs and the gentleman who helped me was very interested and offered several suggestions. Yes there are places to buy parts online, but Relic Parts Warehouse genuinely wants to help you succeed and they offer options you may not have considered. I will be going back whenever I need repairs or parts.
