Found this place in a pinch while in town for an appointment. The food was amazing! Just the photo of the pastrami sandwich reeled me in! Definitely as good as it looks! Street parking is difficult, there's no designated parking for the restaurant and limited seating is available. Definitely not a comfy spot more like a little cafe or a quick diner. Not a place to hang out. The staff was friendly and helpful - just rushed because they were super busy.
Pretty much self-serve except the sandwich, you're supposed to grab your own sides out of the cooler and your drinks. Definitely makes things more efficient but with awkward because I didn't understand that's how it worked when I asked about the sides. The potato salad was so-so. I'm an East coaster and I definitely enjoy a little bit more flavor to my potato salad, it was pretty bland to my tastes.
Parking: Allow time to find parking during busy times of the day especially! Street parking only, the streets are pretty busy and I had to circle around twice to find a spot.
Kid-friendliness: Really not very kid friendly, there's a lot at least height and below that's easy to grab and seating is not very easy to find, let alone with children.
Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely not very wheelchair accessible. There is no handicap parking near the entrance, and the sidewalk can be difficult to navigate with a large step up from the street.

Wrote this review on Yelp, and it still stands. Uptown is still the best in town...
I've grown up with Italian delicatessen, but to each their own when it comes to taste. If anything, quality in a sandwich can be seen with regard to bread and the various condiments. Enter Uptown Provisions and you will find a small shop serving delightful creations throughout.
Service is spot on. I never had the feeling a person would care so much about making a sandwich to a standard, but here we are. While shuffling about the store, to see all the neat small batch items, one can glance to the assembly area and see their order being carefully prepared. I've worked with highly knowledgeable bike mechanics who were not this meticulous.
My only gripe about Uptown Provisions is the parking. It's not the best, but I come from a school of convenience. There is plenty of open space around the area, but storefront parking can be difficult to come by. Prices are high (in my opinion) but the quality is worth it!
If you are in the mood for an amazing sandwich experience, then make a trip toward uptown. You won't be disappointed.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE: Great spot for sandwiches!
AMBIANCE: Noise level is average. Limited tables inside and spot outside, along the sidewalk.
ORDERED:
- Spicy Gabagool (too much meat for me, but flavors were good)
- Curry Chicken Salad (very tasty!!)
They have a variety of drinks and sodas, cookies, bags of chips.
SERVICE: Service was good!
PRICE: ~ $20pp

I went into the restaurant for a refund because I didn’t know they served the pastrami with cheese which I would never buy.
The manager left the refund wrapped and sealed for me on the counter. I trusted them and so I did not unwrap and count the change in the store.
The owner CANNOT say surveillance says otherwise because this is exactly what happened.
Everyone count their money before they leave this establishment.

I requested a refund of 17.00 and change, only received $12. 00 and change back . Bad service and integrity on this business. It's the principle. And I was acussed of lying ?.

Sandwiches were amazing. Good quality bread and meats. There will be a bit of a wait if it's busy, but the sandwich is worth it. Mine was so big I ended up saving the other half for later. I am super picky on pastrami, but this one was tender and delicious. It comes out HOT!

Tried the turkey sandwich ,as it is on the board, heard alot of hype about the place so I figured let's see how a classic turkey is here, size was underwhelming for the price $$$. flavor, if not for the pickeled peppers and tomato it wouldn't have much..
Bread was thick like Texas toast and chewy not a fan... they say you gotta try something atleast once, well I did.......

Split four different sandwiches between my buddy, myself and his kiddo. They. Were. Delightful. Flavorful, filling, and worth every penny and moment.
We tried the following and will be back for more:
1/ The Italian-ish = 4.8/5 will eat again. Reminiscent of your favorite Italian sammy leaving you wanting more after every bite. If the basil isn’t slapped, you betta ask somebody (to slap it for you).
2/ The Spicy Gabagool = 5/5 so full of sweet heat and flavor, you’ll wish you’d ordered two of these thangz. I almost felt bad for eating most of this one..almost, but not really.
3/ Prime Rib & BBQ Brisket = 4.7/5 damn good and if I hadn’t ordered the others, it would be a full 5/5 but hey, comparison is the thief of joy so I’m stealing some joy here and giving it to the other sandwiches.
4/ Smoked Pastrami Reuben = 5.5/5 it broke the scale by (sand)wich we measure these bites. The sauerkraut & 999 dressing really tied the room together. I could have eaten three of these without even realizing it or breaking stride. Holy smokes, sign me up for this again.
Highly recommend you try it out here. The bread is of the highest quality and you won’t leave even a single crumb. Friendly staff and atmosphere, vibes set with good tunes, and it’s also dog-friendly which was nice and appreciated so that I could bring my wolf with me. The aforementioned awesome staff included a lovely person who asked if my pup Falkor would like a pork treat that was house made. So kind! He loved it and wasted no time proving it and showing his appreciation.
The owner, Aaron, walked around and chatted with everyone. He was affable and kind. Gave us some cool details about how they work with their baker and was just a very cool and kind human. We’re now big fans.
Give it a try and let me know if you enjoyed! Hope the images and recommendations are helpful to ya! ?

Probably one of the most delicious sandwiches I’ve ever had! I had the pastrami Reuben. The pastrami is real pastrami, not processed. All of the condiments are off the hook! The bread is to die for! 5 stars for sure!!!! I gave the atmosphere three stars because it’s not the greatest area and the parking is limited but well worth a short walk. Highly recommend!
