BEWARE shopping at Home Depot. I had my kitchen remodeled and purchased thousands of dollars in appliances at Home Depot. When the items were delivered, I did not notice the delivery employees cracked one of my brand new kitchen tiles! My contractor caught the crack and made me aware of it within one hour of the delivery. I immediately called the driver who directed me to a third party hired by Home Depot called, Sedgwick. I did everything right. I took photographs of the damage, filed a claim the same day, and quarantined the area. I was then contacted by Connor Norris from Sedgwick who denied my claim. According to Connor, the photographs taken by the delivery driver did not depict the damage. I explained that the crack was only visible from close range and the camera quality used by the driver was pixilated and could not reflect the damage. I sent him the photographs I took and he accused me of trying to pawn off pre existing damage to them. Mind you the floors were brand new and installed one day prior to the delivery of heavy kitchen appliances (fridge, stove, ect). The kitchen was sealed off pending the delivery of the new items. Connor basically told me, "too bad so sad claim denied". They use poor qualities cameras with wide angles with the expectation that they can always deny damage unless it's MAJOR damage that can easily be visible. Breaking your brand new kitchen tile, however, doesn't fall under that category. Since the tile rested underneath the brand new kitchen cabinets, the removal was going to be tricky since we were going to have to remove the cabinets along with the slab of quarts. Also we would have to put the grout in all over again. It wasn't worth the hassle and I just told my contractor to fill the crack with grout hoping it isn't as ugly. I reached out to Home Depot legal department as well as corporate and nobody cared. Congratulations Home Depot. You lost a good customer who has purchased thousands of dollars from your stores over many years.

Their service is very bad when it comes down to purchasing windows doors there's never anybody to help you you go to the store nobody's there you call Lynn you get put on hold just get transferred to different people and then they hang up on you I think they could be more successful if they had better customer servicein that department

I recently had the most appalling van rental experience at the Home Depot Store in Whittier, CA. On October 28, 2023, I arrived at 6:00 am to pick up a van I had booked a week in advance. The check-in process was swift, but the representative's lack of information was shocking. She merely conducted a brief walk-around to note dents and scratches, neglecting to cover critical details such as gas, insurance, or any operational instructions. I was handed the keys with a brisk "thanks," and that was it.As I hit the road, the door between the cab and cargo area began slamming shut every time I stopped, due to a missing knob. This defect made the entire journey to Central California an acoustic nightmare. Despite attempting to minimize the noise with blaring music, the incessant slamming dominated the trip. The absence of time for a return or replacement forced me to endure the torment.Upon returning the van at 7:00 am the following day, the service plummeted even further. The assistant handling returns appeared visibly annoyed when I rang the bell for assistance. Her response to my greeting was a stony silence. Handing her the keys to indicate the van return, she commenced typing without acknowledging my presence. After a polite nudge for acknowledgment, her dismissive and bothered response was profoundly unprofessional.When I requested a manager, the process was met with visible reluctance from the assistant. The manager, Marcus, did listen attentively but failed to provide any apology, compensation, or even a hint of consideration for the malfunctioning van door or the dismal service. His lack of proactive resolution was disappointing, to say the least.As I stood waiting, the assistant abruptly handed me a receipt without any information on the total charges or a simple gesture of gratitude for my patronage. The absence of any attempt to address my dissatisfaction was evident. It was an incredibly disheartening experience.The van itself performed adequately aside from the door issue, but the abysmal service overshadows any positive aspect. I strongly advise steering clear of this Home Depot Store in Whittier for van rentals. This experience was beyond disappointing, and I cannot recommend it to anyone.

I came here today around 11:47 to return a bug zapper that i purchased. I didn't like that it had a short cord so decided to get something else. I approached the Return Desk and there was no one in line. I waited for the Return Desk Associate to call me over but she appeared to be doing other things that didn't pertain to helping a paying customer. When she finally called be over, there was no hello or greet, she barely made eye contact. She asked if there was something wrong with the product in a very rude manner, I in turn said no!! She treated me as if I stole something or had no reason to return an item that I didn't like. I started walking away and then rudely again asked if I wanted my receipt and threw it on the desk.I have never received such horrific, rude, and poor etiquette customer service in my entire life!! I blame this on the Management Team for not training these individuals correctly. This woman needs to be reprimanded immediately and trained correctly on how to engage with paying clientele. Your customers should feel welcomed coming into this place of business not treated like a degenerate thief!! HORRIBLE!! - I will be reporting this incident to Headquarters!!

I went into the store today show military ID to get the 10% military discount they refused to give me the discount because they said I need to download there app to get the discount and sign up there. Told them I don't come here often to where I need the app to be downloaded. So I asked if they will manually give me the discount they said no, they can override it and give the discount but they kept going back to the app like they recited a script.

The return policy is ridiculous now. I get it people steal and then return stuff so when I returned one item for $30 that I didn't have the receipt for I just asked for credit they took my license down and in their system. Next time I come back to return Gang boxes that a co worker mistakenly bought and they said no sorry your license flagged you can't return anything without the receipts. All they had to do was look at my account and see that we spend well over $30,000 a year in Home Depot and they're gonna lose that over $60 in returns will take our business to other hardware stores.

Still having the same issue. They gladly took 1300 for a washing I clearly can't use. Have provided horrible service. Still no refund. Still no answers. Called yesterday was on hold 25 mins n the call was disconnected with no call back. I emailed their corporate location and escalated things so I thought. Nope still nothing. Temco called me twice asking me what service they're coming out for yet I didn't set up any appointments. Apparently Home Depot did or the manufacturer did. How does Temco not have any idea what's going on. The Home Depot apparently doesn't communicate things with their logistics company

Check your items for quality before you check out! We come here very often since my boyfriend does a lot of projects. They have a great & lax return policy but it is super annoying to have to come back. We made the mistake of not checking closely for quality and realized once we drove away that there was a rip on top of the tube! This made all the silicone on the tube of the tube rock hard.While we were checking out in the self check out , other customers had noticed an ice chest they had grabbed was also damaged. Check your items throughly before you purchase!

The garden area is awesome. Really wonderful selection of plants as well as fun stuff for the yard. Holidays are always awesome. From the fabulous blow ups, to animated spooks and beautiful arrangements for spring. Love this store.

Usually come to get this Home Depot to get anything I need to work in the house. But the last few times I have gone, I couldn't find what I'm looking for so I have to go to other stores. Would be nice if they kept the store stocked like before.

I believe his name was Steve, one of the best workers there and his whole team of forklift drivers were incredibly nice and very dedicated to getting us our halloween decorations down from the high shelves. Treated us very nicely and made sure we got exactly what we wanted!

I am not a Home Depot regular. I did not know where to start and it was obvious. An associate quickly recognized this and asked me what I needed. I barely knew what it was called. He told me which aisle to go to. Ten minutes later I was still trying to figure out what I needed and the same associate came by to help me out. Nice nice nice. Quick check out.

This HD at one time was awesome in customer service. Now the store has turned into Lowes in Pico Rivera, you cannot find anyone to help you. When you see an associate and ask for help they scatter like roaches. There is no such thing as customer service anymore.

The best Home Depot not only for always being in stock so much space and very convenient. They have the best costumer service then any of the nearby Home Depot's stores. Store# 6684 is worth coming for all your projects. Thank you Javier In costumer service for your excellency and your help.
