Can not beat it for a good time afternoon.Love when the top movies arrive. The Tuesday & Sunday $5 day is just what the neighborhood needs to stroll around "Uptown Whittier" either before a movie or after one. Great Cafe's & restaurants to have breakfast ,lunch, or dinner.. before or after the same! Family friendly all over the place, shops galore all up & down the center of the City. Walk, drive or take a bus...you'll love our neighborhood too☝️?but; Don't keep quiet about it, bring the Family, bring a friend, if neither? Hey?? you'll most likely meet someone there.???MERRY CHRISTMAS?

Family and I enjoy coming to this location. Clean and mostly friendly staff. We have had a few rude encounters with staff while getting drinks, but otherwise a great location.

Oh very dated and vintage if you find that comfortable and intriguing I recommend a visit. My favorite place to come and watch movies especially on discount Tuesdays which is $5 flat for a movie flick.Have the app you can book your seats in advance with a $3.50 booking fee added to the cost. If you must guarantee a seat it's worth it.No fancy reclining chairs it's dated but I love that cause the cost won't affect the customers.Wheel chair accessible and accommodated seating of course.

Employees are friendly and helpful.I still use my Rewards card for periodic freebies. The food is standard fair. The theater is kept as clean as possible with some of the messy moviegoers.I am grateful for the special $5 showings. The theater is wheelchair friendly. Some newer theaters have an electrical outlet for my power wheelchair or scooter to conveniently charge while I'm watching a movie. This is an older theater so the seats don't recline, but I do find the seating comfortable.Overall I enjoy going to this theater and try to get there weekly.

Nice, reasonably priced theater in Downtown Whittier. Offers student discounts, senior rates and matinee prices. Plays all the newest releases at a fraction of the cost one would pay at AMC or Regal. Next to plenty of restaurants and bars for late night movie goers, and for matinee watchers, plenty of shops to browse during regular business hours. I almost don't want to leave such a good review out of fear that this place will become packed with people and I'll never be able to find seating again. ?

Hadnt been here for over a year. Nice to see they are taking care of the place and doing upgrades. The old carpet was gone and the new seats are very nice. Still great price and service. Super busy though, guess everyone else agrees ?

Good luck price but if you want a great inclusive theater experience the very small screens and barely intelligible sound system won’t satisfy!

The prices are very reasonable. People are nice. The seats are comfy. They have senior discount and before 12, the tickets are 5 dollars. Prices are good at the concession stands, too. Free refill on the large popcorn and soft drink! Try it for yourself!

Local small older theater family friendly spot. Gets a four because it’s dirty when busy, needs a menu update and needs a seat remodel. Because it’s budget friendly and busy with families (crowded) it can get dirty quickly. It’s Whittier only theater and you have to travel far for a larger theater chain that has newer facilities. The best part of the theatre is the special pricing during matinees and certain $5 days, point systems, and online seat reservations—-and its seven minutes away. My kids have fun and can’t beat the prices for a family of four.

This is the best movie theaters in my local area. My family and I love to come here all the time when we plan to see a different movie with genres. Even my La Serna friends John Bihr and Megan Pilker used to work here.

Super cute little vintage theater. Good sound quality, clean facility, and super friendly staff! $5 Tuesday’s! They also do showings of classics as well as current blockbusters.
