I would not recommend this place Pih has bad communication skills. No ethics or compassion for patients. It took me 30 days to schedule an appointment then they called my appointment rescheduled for another 30 days drove to Pih and at the front desk. They said oh appointment has been canceled again. We were never notified. The first cancellation the doctor had an emergency. The second cancellation was not stayed away. The third cancellation they said we were bumped I don't even understand what bumped even means horrible place. So it's been more than three months and they have not been seen by a doctor.

Went to my 9am Pain Managment appointment today at this location. My appointment was at 9 and I arrived at 8:45. The girl at the desk who never even looked at me said I was late and that my appointment was at 8:30. She went to see if the could see me and they said NO! I waited 2 months for this appointment. She offered the next available that was not until the end of February! I told her that the normal wait to see the doc once in a room was 45 to 60 minutes, but they could not see me! It's always something at PIH! They no longer have the care they use to. They are so big that they've lost their empathy and do not take the patients need to heart! It's truly not the place it use to be. I have been in extreme pain with my back and shoulder for 3 weeks. You get taken care of better at urgent care! It's horrible dealing with their staff and lack of concern!

This review is for the PIH Lab services, particularly the one on Whittier Blvd. I thought it took a long time to be seen at Quest, but what a waste of an hour. They just have no clue what they are doing there, the one phlebotomist that was working in the early morning (which is a busy time due to fasting bloodwork) saw two patients in 45 minutes. If you've ever had your blood drawn, you know it's a quick thing, even if they have quite a few tests, we are talking only a few minutes, so long as you have a competent phlebotomist, I guess. The front desk wasn't any better, they really had no clue how to handle the paperwork or anything. Multiple other patients walked out this morning, just completely lack of competence in the entire office, will not be back.

I must say after experiencing terrible health care from the front office my first visit, Dr Mitra was terrible un-professional. I had went in directly to a specialist to see what was wrong with my tonsils and hearing issue. She basically laughed in my face and ask " what do you want me to do ". Note, I've been experiencing streptococcus multiple times this year. I asked her please take out my tonsils because they hurt and my ears are hurting, she laughed and said " you don't want me to do that, that takes too much time and laughed it off and made me feel terrible and stupid. Fast forward to now, I'm still experiencing strep throat, I currently have it still, I have to wait another three months to see another specialist, I feel very unsafe going to that office and quite insecure. Should a patient have to experience this kind of treatment? From the attitude of a front desk lady to a unethical Dr who seems to laugh at the younger people coming into her office. This is the kind of toxic Dr that need to be taken out of their practice because they will eventually cause more harm then good. I'm still seeking help and I'm still experiencing a great amount of pain, not to mention the trauma of feeling worthless because of a Dr that's supposed to show caring and compassion is showing me her back and acting careless. I'm here writing this comment because I didn't get the treatment I neeeded and I feel I was thrown to the side while suffering and actual infection.

Their lab claims that their operation hours are from 7 am-1100am on Saturdays. Not true! You walk in 20 mins before their said closing time and they refuse to see you because they base their time on the amount of phlebotomists available?! Never heard of that! If that's the case, PIH labs should state that their last walk in is no later than 10:40 am on weekends not whenever they feel like they're done. I understand that there are people still waiting to have their blood drawn but don't post hours that you will not abide by.

Went in recently for some imaging. Scheduling offered a wide range of appointment times including some as early as 5AM and some past 10PM, which is great for people that aren't available during standard office hours. Parking was easy, but please keep in mind that it does cost $3 which you can pay with card or cash. I checked in, and was taken back within a few minutes. They have lockers with a key where you can store your belongings, as well as a restroom/changing room. Everyone was super helpful and the process was as easy and simple as it could have been. I would definitely recommend coming here, especially after hours when it's less crowded.

Waited well over an hour beyond scheduled appointment to see a doctor (Oncology dept) and no explanation or excuse was given. The appointment scheduling department is terrible. In attempting to make an appointment with Radiology, I waited on the phone few times to speak to a staff. And after waiting long time, I decided to leave my number with appropriate info required by the automated system for a call back. Never received a call back even after confirming that return call was reserved. As I write this review few days later, I'm now on hold waiting to speak to a staff to make an appointment -- so far the wait is almost 2 hours waiting on line listening to bad music and recording about PIH.

This review is only for the Womens Health Center off Putnam's PIH building. No matter what day I come the wait is way past my scheduled appointment time. Appointment at 11? You'll be called back at 12. You ask the front desk girls how far behind the drs are running and they have the same answer "you're next". And you wait again for another 20 minutes. No regard for patients time or sympathy for the long waits, no apologies they stare at you as if you're the problem. Truly asinine.

PIH Health continually bills me for services that are incorrect and over charges. The shingles shot which cost $37 at the pharmacy, PIH bill me $350. I called twice on Tuesday 1-4-22 and left a message for a return call. They never returned my calls. They also sent a bill on 1-4-22 with a due dats of 1-8/22. Poor customer concern and service at the billing department.

This is for PIH Health Cerritos pediatric and lab. Both staff and management are incompetent. I took my son here for the pediatrician, he ordered the routine anemia blood test to be drawn from my son's arm even though he just turned two. We waited close to 15 minutes after signing in to be called in, despite the fact that there was no one else in front of us, the phlebotomist Vanessa was not checking the sign in sheet at all. She then give us an attitude, not giving any prope

Doctors are not listening to pt concern’s. PIH doctors expect you yo work through pain, they don’t seem to care about me or my unborn babies well being. They don’t care about giving the pt the time to have a healthy pregnancy

PIH has been very professional and proactive in my health care needs. The doctors and staff are friendly and go through your questions to make sure you understand.
