In addition, I prefer to support small businesses, such as this one. I love the owner, Dawn. She has a small cat adoption center at the back of her store. She rescues cats and puts them up for adoption. She's an amazing person. Owners like that need more support from residents in the area. I have been going to her for over a decade. And I will continue to go there for pet food. I could not recommend this place enough to everyone. People donate items to her, so she can sell them. All the proceeds go to the rescued cats. Sometimes she has bake sales as well. Just come and support her business.

13420 Whittier Blvd, WhittierMy cats didn't take to the pine litter it was too harsh on their feet. Tried Tidy cat breeze,,smaller pellet but smell like bad of pee. Found another small pellet made of walnut shells, that clumps. The cats liked it, no smell and little to no tracking. I do add a little of the tradional clay clumping litter to help it get the pee completely but it sinks past the pellets to the bottom and the cats don't track it.

16521 Whittier Blvd, WhittierI Can’t recommend this place enough! if you care about your precious fur baby and get anxious leaving them at groomers because you hate how they cage them in for hours until they are seen then this is the place for you! your baby is loved and cared for here and gets to play around with other dogs while they wait if needed and if your dog isn’t social then they separate them from the dogs it’s just so nice going to pick up your fur baby and seeing them roaming around not in a cage and not stressed in anyways plus the prices are great and they do an amazing job every time. It is our forever groomer now ???

I was not able to take my husky to any shop including petrol, however they proved me wrong. when I walked in, the guy said we are the best and I said 'will see' and I did see. Cleanliness, brushed, dried amd groomed as if she just hitting he beauty salon!! she would never allow anyone to touch her paws, even me, but they got to file her nails, do the ears and do the D-shedding all in a good hour and half. Oh and the price was incomparable ???

15618 Whittwood Ln Suite A, WhittierI should have written this review a year ago, but I am doing it now because I still remember how fabulous Dr. Grant and her team were to my brother's dog. I was taking care of my brother's dog while he was stationed abroad, and the pup became severely ill to the point that he wouldn't eat ANYTHING, including his favorite treat. I was so worried that I didn't sleep the night before taking him to Dr. Grant the next morning because the pup's breathing was so labored. So, I took him to Dr. Grant, and she was phenomenal with him. Dr. Grant got down on the floor with him and spoke to me while looking only at him. She stroked his head, ears, and neck to put him at ease while assessing him. After a round of tests, Dr. Grant described their treatment plan and to pick him up in four hours. When I returned, the pup was almost already back to himself; he was animated and happy again, ready to play, and his appetite returned. Over the next ten days, the length of time to complete all prescribed medication, he got better and better and returned to 100% himself. I was so grateful for Dr. Grant and her team; they returned my brother's sweet pup to health and put my fears at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Grant to anyone looking for a highly-skilled, personable, and caring veterinarian.

The staff running the place are always friendly and ready to cut the stems and wrap the flowers for a gift. They have a great variety of options from roses, carnations both large and small, mixed bouquets, succulents and so much more. The prices here are also very good and and the flowers are fresh cut and bloom nicely and last far longer than the flowers being sold on the side of the road by other vendors. They are conveniently located next to Rose Hill Cemetery as well which is a large portion of their business and rightfully so. I appreciate the friendly service and always making the transactions quick and smooth. This will definitely be my go to flower shop when I am in the area.

It's family friendly and great for big groups. There's a few different food vendors that you can order food from. There's a bbq, pizza, coffee and pastries, crepes and a vegan Mexican place. There's a good variety of beer and wine. There's some pinball machines to play as well.

My GF and I have been here on several occasions, and each time it wows.
It's tapas style and there are a lot of wonderful items to choose from.
We started with the white sangria.
It's crisp, fruity and has a nice acidic kick to it.
It's not overly sweet.
Our first menu item was the goat cheese and arugula salad.
It has toasted pumpkin seeds and strawberries with a vinaigrette dressing.
It's a great mix of sweet and savory with some different textures as well.
Our second course was the Brussels sprouts.
I don't know how they make these taste so good, but they're delicious.
Crispy leaves with tender full sprouts with a wonderful sauce.
Next up was the Mac and cheese with Spanish chorizo (a much harder chorizo than the more crumbly Mexican style).
This was very flavorful but not too rich.
A lot of "fancy" Mac and cheese entrees tend to be overly rich.
This was just perfect.
Lastly, we split the burger.
It was rich and meaty served on an airy bun.
It comes with a balsamic vinegar reduction that really contrasts the meat well.
We were too full to get dessert (a rarity for me).
Our server was friendly and helpful.
The food arrived hot and quickly.
If you like tapas, or flavorful food in general, I would highly recommend Phlight.

What happened to it?? It was parked on Whittier Blvd, Tuesday through Sunday... Delicious tacos and even better burritos! One night I was craving some tacos at 11 PM or a couple minutes before and we showed up! Instead of telling us "No more tacos" the lady let us know what meats were available and started cooking up our food! She saved my night! Lol! They made everything fresh, even the tortillas, so it took a bit longer to get an order done but there was the option to call in what your getting! So, If anyone knows where they went, tell them to come back!! Lol! Thanks! :D
