Jenny and another girl whose name I haven’t gotten are amazing! Been bringing my son here for haircuts for over a year now, and they work wonders with his super straight hair. They are great with kids, and extremely patient with kids of all ages. Facilities could be cleaner, but staff is so great I won’t knock a star for it.

I brought my son in for a mandatory haircut due to upcoming medical needs. I came in on a Friday afternoon and there was one stylist on duty with a waitlist of 4 ahead of me. I waited an hour in the waiting area because I had no other options but my son had a good time playing in the kids friendly area they have. Our turn came up and I was hoping my son would do well. He didn't. He screamed and wiggled and turned. The stylist did her very best and I knew I would be upset either way since I didn't want his hair cut but had to do it anyway. It would be helpful to have more stylists available, to ease up the wait times which were very long. The stylists already have an overwhelming job as it is. I appreciate her efforts and could tell she is very skilled with years of experience. At the end I bought a certificate and she bagged some of his hair for us as a keepsake. Thank you Blanca!

Went in signed in and my daughter got called up. There was only one stylist in there at the time. Monitors all over with cartoons on. A small carousel ride like outside supermarkets and vending machines inside. After the haircut my daughter got to pick a toy. My daughter wants to go back. We'll be back.

My experience today was I arrived 30 mins before closing on Sunday and doors were already locked. No signs saying they were closed. Also online it says on sundays they close at 5 pm. There was an short older woman who had seen me walk up and didn't even acknowledge me on why shop was closed already. Very rude and unprofessional.. I have been here a Handful of times and now I will be taking my money somewhere else.

This place could be great, if it wasn’t understaffed and under supplied. It’s also a little bit ridiculous that they don’t have an air conditioning system that works or aren’t concerned enough to get it working. My one year old son left with a rash because he was literally sweating while getting a haircut. I feel worse for the employees because they’re sweating too, which isn’t sanitary and just basically reflective of poor ownership. Luckily, the staff (particuarly Jenny) doesn’t let the poor working conditions affect her attitude with the parents or the children. She probbaly deserves or raise or should just start her own business.Service: Haircut

So I have been to all 3 locations and decided to give Whittier a try as its like 15 min away from my home but do I regret it!I took in my son for a haircut and he was left with so many patches its not even funny. The lady couldn’t even do a line up she had to tell Jenny to do it for him.I will stick to going to the Downey location even if its further but they have more experience. I didn’t even bother to get the ladys name thats how upset I was. I can’t speak for Jenny as she did the line up only and was so sweet and gentle with my son, as for the lady she was not.Service: Haircut

Says closes at 6pm, showed up @ 515pm. Doors were locked, and worker motioned from inside that they are closed. If you close at 5pm, update the hours.

Well I being taking my son here for many years! I am so grateful with there service ! I always wait on Jenny she is so profesional and has so much patience for my son . She always does a great job . My son it's special needs so it's so hard to find a place for him.

I love this salon. I've been bringing my son since he was months. Jenny does a great job! However, I don't recommend letting any of the stylist cut your child's hair. My last cut about two weeks ago was really bad so I'm waiting for it to grow back to hair Jenny correct it. She's the best.

I"m rating based on location (not haircut, haircut was good). This place felt like a sauna inside . They do not have a proper A/C unit so they use this big fan machines. I did appreciate that it was super fast, that way I can get out .

Such an amazing salon my daughter is on the spectrum and has a sensory issue with people touching her hair but let me tell you susana was amazing!!!!! Thank you so much we will be coming here for many years to come !!!'

As a first time mom we tend to be more over protective with our baby. My son burly turned 9 months and my husband and I wanted to wait until our son turns 1 year to cut his hair. I'm so happy I didn't because I had the best experience at Pelitos Hair Salon. Blanca was so sweet and patient and very professional. She did an excellent and amazing job with my baby's hair. My husband and I are definitely going back.

I have previously went to the Norwalk & downey location and they both have horrible customer service. I was for sure convinced about not returning to this business because of the downey and norwalk location turning me down after driving two hours to get my kids a haircut. But i decided to give this location a shot before i really made my decision. Let me start off that Jenny gave excellent service! She has so much patience & made me feel welcomed. I was upset to see that she was alone with absolutely no help. Besides my daughter there was 5 kids left and it was 6:50pm so for sure she would have to stay after hours to get the job done. MESSAGE TO OWNER OF PELITOS: add another person to this location!! i was curious to think if this lady takes a break or if she gets overwhelmed with work. Thank her for this review because she is awesome & your other locations need better customer service. I will NOT be returning to the other locations or any other employee. ONLY jenny!
