Love this place. Found a cider I tried in Scotland and was excited to purchase at home. Hard to find but got lucky & found it here. Everyone is super friendly and they go out of the way to help and make sure you find what you need. I'll keep coming back for sure.

Went today at 2 pm to get my lottery tickets and cash two others, When the clerk cashed my 10.00 ticket he gave me 2 10s, I said "Hey" to get his attention and he came back to the counter and yelled saying "My name is not Hey" I woud appreciate it if you called me SIR, First time i have seen him and last time getting my tickets there too, I was a regular customer and all the other clerks are nice and helpfull, Too bad, one bad egg!

I went to grab a bottle of beer and instead of the bottles moving forward they went backwards and broke and spilled into the back freezer. They charged me for the bottles that broke. Thought the guy was joking when he told me I had to pay for them.Apparently them over stocking was my fault and I had to pay for them.I've gone there for more than 15 years won't be going there ever again.

Didn't have something I was looking for. And a couple things were really expensive.

I walked in to get couple of bottles of wines and lottery ticket cashing. The person at the counter was watching me like a hawk from the moment I walked in. I must admit I did not sleep well at all. He accused me of being drunk and refuse to sell wine at 2PM in the afternoon. I felt that his reaction was racially motivated. If you experience the same or similar problems, please contact me directly so we can take proper steps in a legal way.

Besides the fact that got an awesome selection of spirits and beer, you can get a great cigar at a decent price.

I've been to this location plenty of times. I've bought craft beer, whiskey, wine, champagne & tequila aged in bourbon barrels. Haven't been since the pandemic and today reminded me of why I stopped coming. The ppl that work here suck a** thru a straw. I go in for the Eagle rare store pick and ask if they had any more? Only to be told rudely "it will be on sale later." When I asked what time? the guy looks at me and says, "I don't know." How in the blue hell do you not know when itll be on sale? Don't you effin work here? Any way, I leave and literally as soon as I get home the damn bottle is up on sale. What kind of bs was that about? Waste of my damn morning & drive.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. My sister in law and I walked in; I didn't have a mask on because I didn't have one, but my sister in law did and the person running the store would still not sell to her even though she was buying. I asked the guy at the cashier why he won't sell to her and he completely ignored me acting as if he didn't hear me and didn't say anything so I'm assuming that he didn't sell to her because I didn't have a mask on, funny thing is, one of his own employees didn't have a mask on as he was stocking the shelves so I didn't understand why he was making it a big problem. We would've been out of there in 3 min. I didn't mind waiting outside, but I didn't even get the opportunity because right away he chose not to sell to my sister in law who had a mask on. I ended up going to the liquor store right across pep boys, I didn't wear a mask and was treated like a regular customer regardless if I had a mask on or not. The guy was polite and still sold to my sister in law. Looks like you guys have a problem with how you treat your customers according to these reviews, I recommend you work on it especially if you're in a business where all you do is work with people.

And I thought taking pictures of your food was annoying; I had never imagined people took pictures of bottles of liquor in their hands. Anyway, Liquor Mart. The groovy logo earns a star all by itself. Current count: one star. Sam (RIP) used to work here. Sam was an amazing individual, and he called everyone "young man," no matter how much older or younger than him you were. Add a star. Current count: two stars. They have everything. Yes, it's a liquor store, and in Southern California, the terms liquor store and convenience store are often synonymous, so it's not surprising that a Whittier liquor store would double as a bona fide convenience store, but Liquor Mart is also a straight-up, no-joke liquor store. The fact that it carries so many other things is all gravy, and it makes it even more of a necessity, especially when you're already headed west on Whittier Boulevard because all the important stuff seems to be on the other side of the street. It really is a convenient store. Another star it is. Current count: three stars. It's clean, they're nice. Everything is always where it needs to be. They sell newspapers and have matchbooks, and they really don't skimp on anything. They're starring in their very own episode of a four-star review. Current count: four stars. I can't think of anything else to add.
