The store is topically nice, spacious, and clean, but is incredibly understaffed and lacking in customer service. The intensity in size makes it difficult to track someone down, and the one person that was there to help was dismissive and rude. I didn't catch the name tag, but I would not be surprised if I was helped by the same woman mentioned in the other poor reviews for her attitude. My disappointment is not stemming from superiority or entitlement, I perfectly understand what the realistic expectation is for workers in customer service retail (as someone that works in that kind of job myself), but the lack of basic friendliness, manners, and hospitality is a complete deterrent from returning to this store for help.

Amazing service, excellent merchandise selection and everyone is always so helpful!! They're also really helpful with the coupons and making sure you get the best price. I come here about once a week because I love this location and selections.

I honestly don't understand why this Joann's moved to this new large facility. They have very little selection of fabric, unless you are a quilter. It's basically a giant craft store. Also, they are understaffed and if you do find someone to help you, they are of very little help. It's a shame because we really need a good local fabric store and I'm just done with this Joann's. in a pinch, I will go to the Joann's in Fullerton or even Lakewood. After over 40 years of shopping here, I'm done.

Wow. Worst customer service ever. No one to answer my questions or show me where an item was. Also ordered something for pickup and my item was not there, despite getting an email notification saying it was ready. They asked me to come back after I get another email. I said that is terribly inconvenient and I suggested I just grab it from the stock from the store. They said I had to wait for another email. I will wait for that email and immediately return it.

Yikes. Girl on the floor was zero help. I asked if they had a restroom. She said by the entrance down the hall - cool - could have mentioned you need the code 2468 then checkmark. I also asked if she could help with the scissors since they're locked up, she literally told me to look for a button to push....ummm wouldn't they just be sending you at that point? I gave up, went to the front line & waited. That girl followed me back to the scissors, fumbled around trying to get past the security tag at which point she handed me the scissors and said here hold these...cool. Went back to the register and the scissors were 40%, but I had a 60% off coupon and she couldn't figure out how or why I would prefer to save an additional 20%....cool. The store is massive with great prices but please hire people with an ounce of common sense and customer service experience... PLEASE for the love.

Extended their hours for the holidays, great, right?! Nooo... With only one person in the cashier, long line building up - definitely bring your patience coz other workers aren't willing to help out this singled out girl dealing with customers just wanting to get in and out to complete their rushed errands.

Pros: it is new and have a nice yarn collectionCons: no bags (been awhile now), restrooms always out of service, still got shipping boxes customers need to go through to find products.I’d give them a month to figure it out before going if you’re making larger purchases.

No bags! I have gone in this store a few times this past month and they don’t have bags . Also it’s seems they can’t get there items out of the boxes in the middle of stores. When I asked the manger she seemed overwhelmed maybe corporate needs to come in and give some training on how to order supplies and get items out of the boxes

Joann's Scissors Sharpening Service So one day every other month each Joann's location has a Vendor on site that will sharpen Scissors and Knives. This Vendor (Sharpening Service) is at the Joann's locations from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. I took two pairs of Scissors to the new La Habra Store the day before the Vendor would arrive with the hope that my Scissors would be Sharpened early the following day. A "Little Voice" in my head told me that since I would be in the area around Noon Time, that I should check on the status of my Scissors? I Arrived at the Joann's Store in La Habra and Spoke with the Gentleman that does the Sharping and to my surprise he told me that he hadn't seen my Scissors. I told him exactly where the Sales Clerk had set them on the Counter behind the Registers, and guess what? My Scissors were still "Packaged" and sitting in that same spot where the Joann's Sales Clerk had set them. The Vendor apologized, and then told me that my Scissors would be Sharpened and ready for pick up in one hour, and they were. I don't understand why Joann's offers the Customers the opportunity to drop off the Scissors ahead of time, if the Scissors are not going to be given to the Vendor that Sharpens your Scissors??? In this case I hope that it was just a lack of Communication or Training with the Joann's Sales Clerk? Either way it comes down to the Joann's Store Management to give better guidance to their Employees regarding their Vendor Services. P.S. I love the New Joann's Store. The location is very convenient, and my Wife is a regular Customer.

All I needed was less than a yard cut. There were two ladies in front of me that had a huge order. I waited more than 20 minutes and the employee called for help only once. She was working as fast as she could but the wait time was insane. The manager walked right by and didn't do a thing to help the line. The other employee took her break when there was a line. The store is nice but I feel the customer service is lacking.
