12819 Penn St, Whittier“Used to go for a great beer selection and good vegetarian food. Seems they’ve slimmed down both of those categories. I did, however, get several interesting snacks at a good price.”
“Talk About A Blast From The Past!!! Spotted This Pic N Save While Shopping In Whittier. Stopped In, And Boy Am I Glad!!! Laura, The Associate Whom Helped Us Is Amazing!!! ? Thank You For The Retro Shopping Experience!!! ??”
“Busy parking lot with restaurants and a gym. Nice, big and clean store with lots of options, a good sushi counter, deli, and bakery. I'm so happy they built this store. I really disliked going to the Ralph's across the street.”
“Great deals on PRODUCE.
You can't get everything you need here. Definitely not a one stop shop. But I come here for some great deals on some of my select items. Downfall for me is need to rent a cart. So I bring my own bags and shop with those as I peruse the store.”

13018 Philadelphia St, Whittier“Love this place!! My daughter and to go every Friday for great quality fruits and veggie's. We also buy eggs and sourdough bread! Come out and support our local farmers.”
“Mgreat place to get fresh chicken, eggs, and chicken bits. Parking can be a bit difficult as there is very limited space on the street but your perseverance will pay off. The proprietor speaks fluent Spanish, English, and Vietnamese.”
“Besides being conveniently close to me, I enjoy this Sprouts because it's usually not crowded & especially the nutritional/supplement section. Different people work this department, but they've always been friendly & willing to help answer questions.”
“Not an actual review. Last century we shopped here for groceries (me for comic books, mom for groceries) sometimes on the way back from school.
Nice to see another place from my childhood still standing.”
“They went out of their way to help me even being just minutes from closing. The store looks a little dated but really who cares about that. Awesome 5 stars for excellent customer service”
“Clean and helpful. Definitely dope that the worker went the extra mile to find me the one last clearance item that was almost gone!
I appreciate the service”

Sammy and his crew are all so nice and friendly. His prices aren't too high and it's nice to stop by and to be known by name, it makes my day everytime. Thanks to Sammy and all the guys. Ur loyal customer Geri Q”
“I really like the store now that I can order Amazon fresh item online and get free store pickup, which previously only available to prime member. I found myself on the app a lot more throughout the day to add item gradually to the cart. The only issue is that if I want to cancel or exchange the item that I order I have to notify the employee before I actually check in for the pickup so that they can cancel or exchange item on their end. Once I press the "I'm here to check in" button in app everything is finalized. The only way to return an item would be through Amazon fresh app. I just have to remember that it is not a regular store that I cannot exchange item like the other store. I can't help it when I wander around the store I found something that I like even better and I want to swap the item that I order in app for the item that I saw in store. The manager is really cool he is wearing a safety vest and very accommodating.”
“This is probably one of the only places where I have nothing negative to say about in the uptown market area there's something for everyone whether that be skateparks, boutiques, restaurants etc there's no lack of any of these, can't even count the amount of good memories I've made here, I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area you will not be disappointed.”
“Love their menudo. It does not smell so you can taste the meat better. They give you real dried red chilli and your choice of Bolillo bread or tortillas on the side. Perfect Saturday/Sunday morning breakfast.”
“I liked that I was able to find chips and drinks in the count of 30 for my sons class. There was a sale on the chips but it wasn't a good deal having to buy 2 boxes!! I was in and out fast!!”
“Small Local market that's been here forever. Friendly service at the front and the butcher. Hint: their cooked carnitas are amazingly seasoned and tender.”

12604 Penn St, Whittier“This is a 4 minute walk from where I live and it is a shame that I have not visited sooner. There is a great selection of alcohol and the carneceria is everything! It looks very clean and the meat fir sale looks extra fresh! The workers are the coolest and they won't hesitate to give you a sample of their cooked meat! I also has their ceviche and it is perfect! I will not only buy meat from here from now on!”

15740 La Forge St, Whittier“Download the vons app. I didn't know how to save and use discounted items, so I asked them. I just had to show them my account barcode at the checkout. I like getting products at discounted prices. It was clean here and the meat was fresh.”
“The bakery is amazing! The eatery inside has various dishes that taste great! There's a deli, meat market, you don't even have to buy groceries, which I would say is the only downside. The prices are a bit high.”
“Nice place, really really clean inside. Employee was nice and the water tastes good. I don't know why people are complaining about the price it's not expensive.”
“One of the HUGEST Targets that I've ever been to! It's in a super big shopping plaza with plenty of parking. I honestly think this is the first Target that I've been to with an optometry section. Lots of cashiers and self check out stations (huge plus!) and despite going right after the rush hour of work, it wasn't super crowded (despite being busy) and I didn't have to wait for anything at any point. By virtue of being one of the hugest Targets that I've been to, it has more things to shop for! The home decor and home goods, pet food and supplies, cleaning supplies, groceries, dollar area in the front, etc. had way more things than my local Target. They even had a more robust Halloween section that was set up earlier than mine too! Good stuff. A+ Target in my book!”
“Found this place in a pinch while in town for an appointment. The food was amazing! Just the photo of the pastrami sandwich reeled me in! Definitely as good as it looks! Street parking is difficult, there's no designated parking for the restaurant and limited seating is available. Definitely not a comfy spot more like a little cafe or a quick diner. Not a place to hang out. The staff was friendly and helpful - just rushed because they were super busy.
Pretty much self-serve except the sandwich, you're supposed to grab your own sides out of the cooler and your drinks. Definitely makes things more efficient but with awkward because I didn't understand that's how it worked when I asked about the sides. The potato salad was so-so. I'm an East coaster and I definitely enjoy a little bit more flavor to my potato salad, it was pretty bland to my tastes.
Parking: Allow time to find parking during busy times of the day especially! Street parking only, the streets are pretty busy and I had to circle around twice to find a spot.
Kid-friendliness: Really not very kid friendly, there's a lot at least height and below that's easy to grab and seating is not very easy to find, let alone with children.
Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely not very wheelchair accessible. There is no handicap parking near the entrance, and the sidewalk can be difficult to navigate with a large step up from the street.”
