Friendly people... Good prices... Love this place... Bought a drumset, a guitar and I have a cello on lay away... Good selection on instruments ... Clean place... Highly recommend it...

This place is horrible they add more to what it usually cost !!! Please don't buy from here go somewhere else. Bad place don't recommend at all. They're very selfish. ❌❌❌❌Even amazon is better than this to be honest.

Weird place, The wife of the owner is usually there and she has a big poo poo face anytime we walk in. They usually have the same stuff that they have always had, and they are very serious people. Not a chill place to shop around at all! Check out Arts Pawn down the street for better deals!

Aweful experience at Browns. Their main worker was trying to flirt with my wife while I bought a guitar cable and put a guitar on layaway. He made us uncomfortable but we did business anyway because they had good prices. I came back a week and a half later to finish my payment for the guitar and told the workers there that the guitar cable didn't work and if I could exchange it for another. There was an older lady working there who told us we couldn't exchange the cable even though they told me initially it may be defective. I'm now worried that my guitar is also defective since they didn't seem knowledgeable about musical instruments at all. Musicians beware, there are plenty of other good pawn shops down the street

Bad experience. Came in with a friend who was looking for a guitar. This worker made us feel uncomfortable by staring at us the whole time. He asked my gf " why are you so quiet?" It was very creepy the way he said it. The inside looked like part of an indoor Swap meet. Cheap stuff.

Went into shop this week with 3 vintage watches that said they were gold but was told they weren't worth anything so I took them home. Yesterday at uptown car show I took them to the coin store on Greenleaf and received $115 for them. So glad I didn't throw them away as I was told at Brown's
