I have gone to this Ulta for several years and it has been just fine. However, today associate Gigi stood out! She took the time to really help me with coloring matching and picking out a foundation/concealer. She was also informed on the newest promotions that Ulta was having and communicated them to me in a way that wasn't pushy or In a salesperson-like manner. She was attentive and even gave me some makeup tips. I had a very pleasant experience. Make this girl a manager!!

Thank you, Denise, for helping me and my daughter. She was able to help me with all my questions, and I loved the suggested brands. I was able to get everything we needed. Great place, amazing service, and organized place.

I called to see if they sold and had a certain product in stock, I moved from one city to another and upon arriving they told me they didn't have terrible attention.

Rude rude rude. Girl at cash register was acting stupid to not wanting to charge me. When my turn was up she acted like she had to tell the the other cashier something and she called next and when I walk up to the register the same girl who move helped someone else. Instead so I took it personal. I even asked the girl who helped me that what was her problem does she don't like blondes why she hatti'n lol. Anyways she acted as she didn't hear me. And oh yes she didn't give me my points, apparently I had no account, lied I have an account I purchase all my makeup online 3 times a month so. Bad register chick's act stupid there

Why a 5? Well, I'm 46 I've really never done a foundation, color match anything to my face and was overwhelming by the amount of products on the market. A very kind representative could see look of confusion on my face and directed me to a fantastic human. Ronda or Rhonda, was extremely helpful. She not only matched my skin tone wonderfully but showed me how to use the products correctly. Recommended items I might want to try in the future, all in all the experience was a 10/10

First off I had my first baby during COVID and right before the pandemic I purchased a whole haul from Ulta with no complaints. Here I am about 4 years later and two kids I went into the store wanting to purchase more make up now that I'm actually getting back to wearing make up. I took a shopping cart in the store with my two kids not thinking anything of it due to not wanting to haul my big wagon fold out the car and since my kids were already in the cart it was the most convenient thing for me. I was in the store for about 20 min waiting for someone to help me and when someone finally noticed me the first thing out of their mouth was not a hello or how can I help you, but a rude comment about me being in the store with the shopping cart and how it was not allowed. I'm a very understanding person and I get it, but like all things said there is a way to go about it. I had already been in the store for 20 min they saw me walk in and didn't stop me until they saw me looking lost and confused and still at that moment of my vulnerability I was met with hostility and a feeling of no compassion for me and my children. I left with not purchasing anything and highly upset at the fact that I wasn't helped. I won't be returning when I was ready to buy a new make regime. Thanks for nothing and hopefully you can accommodate mothers in the future.

The employees here are so awesome. My favorite Ultra Department store. Very attentive, very nice, and great customer service. Ty Ultra!

Ultra needs to fix their gift card game. If you make a purchase using a gift card, you can't pay the balance in cash or debit if the product needs to be delivered to your home. And they don't offer it to be shipped to the store.

Originally I had a hair cut scheduled with Dulce at the Whittier location, an hour before my appointment the receptionist called asking if I can come later because the hairdresser is going to be late. I said that was fine and that I can understand. I then showed up for my appointment ten minutes early, I checked in with the receptionist and she informed me that she will let the hairdresser know that I am here.Nearly half hour later, I walk up to the reception desk again, the receptionist is nowhere to be found. A different hairdresser steps away from his client to ask if I've been helped. He walked over to who I'm assuming was Dulce and returned letting me know it would be at least another 15 minutes.I would have been happy to be accommodating again and waited had someone addressed me instead of letting me sit there mindlessly for nearly half an hour. The lack of basic customer service was appalling, the entire time I can hear her laughing and yet she couldn’t spare a moment to address her new first time client that she’d be running late yet again. I will not be returning and I would not recommend Dulce, not for her skills because I wouldn’t know but because of her lack of common sense.
