Switching to Bank of Whittier has proven to be a decision I wish I had made much earlier. The exceptional level of customer service, user-friendly online banking platform, and rates have made my banking experience remarkably positive. The staff's professionalism and friendliness, coupled with efficient transaction processing, showcase the bank's commitment to customer satisfaction. The variety of account options tailored to different needs and the straightforward approach to fees add to the overall convenience. In hindsight, I highly recommend Bank of Whittier to those seeking a reliable and customer-centric banking experience. Honestly, no reason to stay with Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo or the rest ---- the rates ALONE (aside from less cost, required minimums etc.).

Always have a positive experience with Bank of Whittier (was just speaking with Priscilla from Bank of Whittier) and am reminded that they are always professional, solution oriented and patient. I had multiple questions (and am currently a customer) and she answered everyone. The Bank provides very competitive rates and I even recall the CEO Dr. Yahia Abdul-Rahman taking time out to correspond with me. How can you lose when an institution has a good heart, serves the community, and is competitive. I've been with multiple other financial institutions with significantly more funding, and yet worse rates, service, and outcomes. Keep doing what you're doing Bank of Whittier!

Impossible to work with. Spoke with Dr. Yahia Abdul-Rahman, who is the CEO is the company, was not helpful at all. Very disorganized and won’t talk to my real estate agent or my attorney regarding any updates.

Exactly my point, If you had given me a chance to speak, submit my paperwork and listen to what I have to say, you would not lie about me inquiring about a hair salon. I never, not once ever said hair salon. So get our conversation right! YOU NEVER GAVE ME A CHANCE TO EXPLAIN WHAT I WAS INQUIRING ABOUT! Then you go on in your reply that your credit policy requires at least 2 to 3 years hands on experience in the same field. But yet this person was approved for a $500,000 loan RIBA FREE for a Bagel shop with no prior experience. Then you go on to say that I expressed disapproval. If anything you disapproved of me! Then you go on to say I was in business for 3 years. If you had given me a chance to speak and listen to what I had to say, you would know that I've been in business way, way longer then 3 years! Then you go on to say, that you had to remind me that my business and what I was inquiring about was a different profession! WOW REALLY! REMIND ME? DO NOT INSULT MY INTELLIGENCE! STOP WITH THE CONDESCENDING AND PATRONIZING! It's one thing to submit all the paperwork needed for approval or denial and it's another thing to deny anyone to submit paperwork never giving anyone a chance. So yes I felt discriminated against. Absolutely a terrible practice! I respectfully disagree with your frivolous and slanderous statements made by you about me! I wish Mr. Yahia Abdul Rahman CEO bank of Whittier the best of success.

I stumbled upon Whittier Bank in 2011 when I was looking to buy a new home. I had just moved from Canada and didn't have a US credit history. The staff was not put off by my situation. They assessed my current employment situation and my Canadian tax returns. Once they completed their assessment, the CEO called me to welcome me to the bank. Over the years, whenever I've had a question, the staff has been highly responsive. This is a terrific bank with a staff that truly cares for their customers and community. There are few banks that truly care about their customers as much as the Bank of Whittier cares about theirs.

I found that they are not people of their word. You had better get everything in writing because they do not stand behind anything said in person or on the phone. Honorable? Unfortunately not. I also have to concur with the opinion above about C. Dang. Not a pleasant person to deal with.

I've received outstanding customer service from the Note Department since 2007. I chose the Bank of Whittier because its the oldest Riba free financing in America. Mr. Le has always been responsive to my concerns and returns calls within 24-48 hours with solutions to my problems. You can't find a more professional, knowledgeable and experience bank to help when purchasing real property. I'm pleased.

I do not wish to leave them a bad review but unfortunately I am having a nightmare with this bank. You will waste your time with this bank. Too busy is not a good reason not to answer the phone calls. "In a meeting." "On the phone." "On Lunch" "Out of the Office" If you are so busy hire people. There is a high unemployment rate. Such a terrible experience. I wish I never ever came here.

The only Halal Bank that does home refinancing, unfortunately, is an incompetent and shady business. None of the important information is said up front and only when it's stated is after multiple follow ups asking for an update.
