“First time here and it's probably one of the best ceramics places I could find. It's extremely affordable. I was able to spend some quality time with my little one as we were on a mission to find pots to grow some seeds we purchased. To add to my little ones experience I wanted to make it extra special So decided to come here. They had a wide selection of pots, sculptures, and even box sets. The shop owner was extremely sweet and friendly. I will definitely return. Main points: 1. You pick your ceramic 2. You paint it 3. They finish very happy with my experience.”

“This shop is a must if you are looking for yarn to knit baby and child items, as there is an excellent selection of machine washable acrylic blends. It carries classic yarn lines like Plymouth, Berroco, and Universal Yarns, and if they don't have it, it can be ordered. It is a long, narrow shop with a comfy living room set of couches and chairs. My only critique is that you will rarely find pricetags, and have to ask about anything you have an interest in. (There is a bit of truth to "if you have to ask, you can't afford" in the yarn store world) Bonus: there is a free parking lot behind the shop, and a cafe next door.”
“Truck Entrance/exit for me was on the Southside of building. Stop and check in with security. Instructed to go around building straight ahead, and around. It's a tight fit, so be careful. A small canal runs on east side. Docks on NE side of building. Forklifts come in/out of buildings, be watchful. Had to wait couple mins for another to get done. Once other truck was done, backed into dock. Done quick unloaded, got my papers signed by operator, got the green light. Got out of the way for another truck. Wrap up, came back out the same way.”

This Covina location has many options and it's one of my favorite store but.... there is one their cashier Cathy is really grumpy and not really helpful. “On Friday, 05/22/24, with several stops to make & one of those stops closing soon & since Joann's (Store 1873) was the closest & I only needed several specific items from there, I went there first. Entering the store at 8:40 PM, I was surprised to find at the late hour several other customers, both shopping & needing assistance & at the register as well. I went about searching for the items needed, but wasn't able to locate them, so I asked for assistance from the staff, a young woman named Eden. Although not everything I needed was in stock, Eden clearly knows Joann's product inventory well (zippers & a couple other items) & what she wasn't familiar with (outdoor fabric UVA/UVB protection), she located a similar product quickly for me.
I was impressed not only by her knowledge & willingness to assist me, but also by her attitude, demeanor & disposition, especially considering the number of other customers requiring help. She helped me with a smile & looked directly at me when we spoke. The manner in which she treated & responded to me is RARE these days as most of the time the opposite happens.
As it turns out, the cashier who 'rang' me up, Lotus was the same way. Neither of these young women ever showed any negative reaction to my being hurried &, in fact did the opposite, worked quickly to help me, and I was able to make my next stop before the store closed too!
Although I have already thanked both of these two Joann staff members personally, this review is to let everyone know how much they are appreciated. They deserve to be recognized!”

“Beautiful pieces I purchased to add to my ofrenda. I'm so glad I found this place by chance. I just happened to be visiting a friend at a nearby restaurant and ended up walking by this store. So many beautiful pieces.
