I had high hopes for this business when I read the reviews however, I did not have a pleasant experience. I took my BMW in for an AC repair and they first told me that it was the compressor and that I would need a new one which is what I thought when I took it to the first Mechanic and he told me the same thing. We settled on a price and I agreed to get the service done. However, I then received a call later that day saying that I also would need fans or something which made the price go even more up since it was already in the shop, I wasn't gonna say not to continue with the repair. another thing that I did not personally like was the fact that it took three days to get the job done I understand that somethings takes time or they may be busy, but I had to miss work because I didn't have my car. Not to mention the fact that they never called me or updated me on the car. I would have to call them myself. The total cost of the repair was 1000 and up. Which was way more expensive than what I was quoted at other shops that I probably should've went to. About a month and a half later my AC went out again. which was pretty annoying considering I just dropped 1000 for it to be fixed. When I was taking my car to get something else fixed at my original mechanic, he told me that the shop did not put a new AC compressor or new components, but that everything was just remanufactured. that is not what I came in for. I was very clear that I needed a new compressor to which they told me too. so I take it back in for them to look at and fix again to which they did and then tell me that the warranty is over and I would have to pay again if I wanted it fixed. with my luck I was hoping that it would not break down again, but here I am writing before you today and it indeed broke down less than two weeks after they fixed it again. I don't know if it's because I'm a young girl who doesn't know much about cars that they felt the need to fabricate the truth. but needless to say, I am not happy with the service i was provided because now I have a broken AC and I'm out $1000. They claimed that the warranty is over on the part that is not even new I will now have to go to a different mechanic and get it fixed and pay more money. I was very disappointed as they do seem nice and talking with them however, I just feel like the service they provided me was not great and the fact that I didn't know that my part was not going to be new because that's what I expect when I pay that much money for something to be fixed. i'm not sure what else will be wrong that the AC keeps going out. The only thing I could think of is the compressor and this whole mess could be avoided if I just got a new one like I had requested at the beginning, I would've never paid for the service if I knew I wasn't getting a new one. I think the shop can do several things better especially communicating with the client about their car at least for me personally. overall, it was just a really bad experience and now I'm out my money because the problem is still here. Not to mention it's been HOT!! I definitely won't be coming back. I never write yelp reviews, so this is coming from a very honest point of view and my experience.

Everything, from customer service to fixing my truck! Mauricio first took care of my truck decently fast and diagnosed it for a very good price I then met Nancy who greeted me with an impressively beautiful smile to return my truck. Will revisit for sure!

Solves: They paid for my scratch wheel. I took my one week old 20in wheels to get thicker tires on my wheels. When it was finished I pick it up. Found one wheel has scratch and try to say it was there. I told the lady they at front desk they are new and no damage to the wheel. I'm having a wheel repair for a quote.

I had a great experience with this shop when I had to take my car in to get it inspected for a check engine light. I didn't quite get the name of the lady working at the front desk, but she was very helpful in explaining their process as well as keeping me updated on how long it would take as well as the cost of parts and repairs. I let them know I needed the car same day and they really made an effort to prioritize me and have the car returned shortly. The whole experience there from dropping off my car, to having it diagnosed, to replacing some parts all took less then 3 hours and I was happily back to driving my car with no issues. I highly recommend anyone looking for an auto service shop to give them a try because an honest shop with great customer service that really cares about you and your vehicle is hard to come by nowadays. Their prices are also very reasonable and they do try to get your vehicle finished in a timely manner.

Came to repair my ford focus and they absolutely earned my trust and business. Honest and transparent from the beginning . My car is running better than ever and my ac feels brand new!. Definitely recommend my whittier people to alexander auto

To start this review, I'll state that I called a handful of places to quote catalytic converter installations. I received different prices from 5 different shops before I decided to go with Alexander Auto Service. They checked out all 3 catalytic converters before giving me a final quote and realized that they could charge me a lot less on one because of the ease of access and installation, which tells me that they're honest to their work. They also were able to list a couple of other possible critical parts to replace without trying to upsell me or force me to install them that same day. Great people, great service, ask as many questions as you can as they'll go out of their way to get you the answers.

I needed a basic oil change and a alignment on my vehicle and was seen that same day. my boyfriend called Alexander auto service and they were very prompt and I paid approximately $195 for a synthetic oil change and alignment. They were prompt in their service it only took approximately 2 1/2 hours. my car has been running great and I would recommend this auto service again

Found this shop by sending in a request to businesses on yelp. They were the first to respond and I was stranded with my car. They quoted me a fair price and had it towed over right away. They started the repair immediately and the staff was very helpful, patient and understanding. Mauricio was the person who I dealt with on the day. He said it would take 2.5 hours and it was done in 2. I also have future repairs needing to be done and will definitely be taking it back to them. As a woman looking for a new mechanic and having the fear of being overcharged, have no worries, they are great! 5 stars

Wow, this place is awesome! I went there initially for my 2015 Lexus Hybrid. I had the temperature gauge alert going off. I called around to get an estimate on repair and was told many different costly things. When I called Alexander Auto, I was immediately put at ease and they said they would take a look and let me know. They were able to diagnose and fix my problem quickly and at a low cost. I went back a second time for my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the check engine light on for a long time, and had permanent codes, which I found out later was very difficult to repair. I had only a few days to pass smog but they were able to quickly get everything repaired. I was told many different things from other repair shops, very costly repair estimates and incorrect diagnosis. Alexander Auto was able to quickly diagnose the issue and saved me a lot of money and time. They are very friendly and trustworthy. Made me feel very comfortable with the repairs and took the time to explain everything that was going on. Really appreciate their service. Super excellent experience. 5 stars . Would definitely recommend.

This place did a great job with my car alignment. I didn't have an appointment but they were able to fit me into the schedule, and a few hours later my alignment was done. I was very pleased with the service, prices and assistance I received from Mauricio. I will definitely be coming back for auto service.

I have a Chevrolet Express. I had a check engine light on, and lack of power. I went to a mechanic shop to check the computer codes: he told me that the problem can be a sensor, or vacuum leak. He was very busy to fix the problem. Then I went to Alexander Auto service, and the guy in charge told me that I had a vacuum leak in the engine. They replace the gasket manifold, and spark plugs in a few days. In this type of vehicle the access of the engine is very complicated. They had to remove the seats and a lot of stuff to replace the gaskets. Now the engine is perfect, and no check engine light. They gave me 90 days warranty on the service. The price that I had to pay was reasonable. I’m happy that I found these guys.I recommend Alexander auto service: quality job and good price.

Found my new auto service place! I called earlier in the week to schedule an appointment for servicing for front brakes since they had been squeaking for a few months. Mauricio was super kind over the phone and customer service was fantastic! When I arrived for my appointment, I met Mauricio in person. He was so much nicer than I could have expected. I only mention this because my previous experience in auto service shops elsewhere always made me feel rushed and that it was inconvenient for me to be there. I received the complete opposite treatment and Alexander Auto Service. He broke down the service for me, gave me an estimated timeframe and told me they would check my back brakes too to make sure they were okay. He had my car ready for me earlier than anticipated, told me my back brakes were fine for now and even had my broken windshield wipers replaced for me! Truly a great experience and I will be back when my back brakes need servicing. Thank you, Mauricio and team!
