I was there just recently and was not so impressed with this place anymore.. prices are just up and compare to pricier stores. This place isn't going to save you much... If you shop this kind of store the Dollar tree will do you better. Unfortunately it's looking rather shabby inside too... shelves aren't as kept up as in the past but in the last couple years there is a new owner I believe and things are just plain different.

I walk in with my daughter I was on lane one and out loud on the intercom they said all cameras activated then a few minutes later they said where watching him felt very uncomfortable and I shop there all the time you guys got really good deals but besides how they judge me like if I was stealing something made me very sad then after that I called the store to make a complaint and then ask for corporate number and they hung up on me I work hard for my money and to provide for my family I would never steal but this happened 99cent store on Whittier blvd and Colima rd this happened at 8 pm please can someone reach out to there managers and let them know that this was uncalled for please thank you

We walked today in after our work out and were waitting for the cashier to help us. Erika came right when she noticed us and apologized for making us wait. She has a wonderful customer service attitude, something that is rare now days. Thank you Erika for being so nice. ?
