Employees give a work release program vibe - shelves are never stocked - you have to go around boxes and trash. Go to Olivehurst or Lincoln. Protect yourself

My recent shopping experience should have minus stars. My bill was $10.57 gave the cashier a twenty dollar bill p, two quarters and a dime for $20.60 She hanged me back $9.43 asked if I wanted my receipt to which I said yes. I the said you gave me incorrect change she said no. I told her my bill was $10.57 and I gave you $20.60 you should have iven me a ten. No it said it was $9, to which I then more fully explained. I said again I gave you $20.60 this is not the correct change to which she then replied you gave me the 60 cents late. I did not but ok fine, so I said ok where is my 60 cents. She seemed exasperated. I explained it again, I gave you $20.60 so if you gave me $9 something back where is my 60 cents. You need to give that back to me. She shot me a dirty look, huffed and grabbed the items form the next person in line looking away. Clearly showing she was done with me. I could see no other cashiers in sight nor a manager. I too by now was not happy so I turned and left. My receipt says my cashier was Debra, cash in $20 change due $9.43 but she flat out stole my 60 cents. I am pretty sure it when in the till and the balance that night must show the balance was off. I live in the neighborhood and an a local business owner. I called the store no answer and am heading back to talk to a manager. I will not shop here again. Not the first issue with this store.

I love this dollar general for their customer service. I only dropped it one star because if you buy food here you do need to check for expiration dates. That would be the only improvement I see.

Was there for a certain stationar product and couldn't find it or close to what I needed But did have so many other things I couldn't name even a quarter of them! Shop Dollar General! You will be surprised at what they do have!

Question, why do the employees get so upset when you need help finding something?Question, look at expiration dates on food items they buy stuff that may be expired to help with overall profit.Question, why do they get so upset when returning something?

I bought an item which is BOGO but they only had 1, I ask if I can get the same thing but different brand but the lady said it had to be the same, well then if they got more would she write it on my receipt that I can get my 1 free next time but she said no :(

Recommend this place great customer service enjoy minute of it and it franchise they do a great job cleanliness just awesome has a lot room to grow especially I. That area more some just enjoy being there is welcoming enjoying the atmosphere thank you for experience :

I love the Wheatland Dollar General! They have a variety of everything! The staff is always very friendly & willing to answer questions or actually help you find a product! They have groceries, clothes, toys, home decor, yard stuff! I could go on & on! They stay open until 10pm! I highly recommend this store

This is the only Dollar General in the area we have been to so I can’t compare to others in surrounding cities, but its always cluttered and sometimes you can’t go down some of the aisles because boxes/trash are piled up within them. I get they have to stock, but there is never anyone around these aisles. I don’t think we’ve ever seen more than 1 or 2 people working in the store at a time, its a good place for snacks, trinkets, and holiday or seasonal items.
