If you are in the area during open hours it is definitely worth checking out, even if you have no intention of making a purchase.The owners and sellers/collectors I have met so far have been very nice, helpful, caring and considerate.The Brick Basement consists of two floors of consignment antiques, vintage, collectibles and gift items from dozens of private collectors. Everything from jewelry to a stuffed 6 ft tall bugs Bunny... Old US currency, clothing, furniture, dishes, pictures, unopened card packs, Hot Wheels, audio and photography equipment, CDs and records... As I said, really amazing!The building is also one of the older ones in downtown Fullerton, which lends additional charm.If parking in the back lot, the door is just left (north) of Matadors. If arriving from the street side, to the right (but still north ?).Hope you are able to make it by at some point - I know I'll be making it a point to stop in whenever I can!”

“Parking - very confusing at first because you park behind the building and need to find the correct turns. Next time will be a breeze. Lot clean and well marked. Staff - very helpful, nice, and patient. Selection - good variety but not a lot of merchandise when I was there. Prices - fair, but the boutique side could be pricy. Store - very clean. I would go back or recommend for someone to take a chance to find a treasure.”

Came in to buy an outfit for an upcoming interview, and felt that I was out of my depth in picking out something that wasn’t too casual or too flashy. I wish I caught her name, but the worker that assisted me was absolutely wonderful and knew exactly what to do when I explained my situation to her. I ended up with the a top and a black dress that I felt really nice in, and even though I didn’t get the job, that isn’t the worker’s fault, or that of the outfit (which I still absolutely love). “When camping out in Glamis the nights can get pretty cold... Yet thanks to Shane and his Big Belly Crew, you do not have to worry about being cold. They have a firewood and appeal shop with flags located on the vendor's row, yet if you want they will deliver firewood to your campsite. The wood is dry beautiful chunks, not green and moist trash. This means it burns, with no smoldering or smoking. This will make your camping trip go from average to epic!! Definitely check out this family business”

After I'd been browsing a good while, the owner, Robert, came along and was Super Excellent! Laid all my wimpy story on him, he was not put off in the least, patiently spent good amount of time educating/assisting me. Ended up being able to make a satisfying purchase. “Sick vintage store!Came in to check out what they had and they have a sick variety of tees and bottoms. I liked that their tees were organized by color since i primarily wear black i know what section to look at. They also had a large variety of dickies and carhartt carpenter pants!You can also use their dressing room which is a plus since sometimes vintage sizing can be tricky. Would recommend coming here and seeing what they have.”

If you're coming for women's clothing, you'll have a great time, as there's a wide array of clothing across many vintage and contemporary styles to choose from. And always filled with furniture at great prices- some are antiques, some mid-century, some new and trendy gently used, but always in good shape. Large selection of art as well. “My favorite second hand / thrift shop! They have lots of styles and good picks. They sort all the items they receive so it's not just a bunch of random crap. Some items are priced like any regular thrift store (I.e. goodwill) others are more pricey but that's because of brand names. Employees are nice.”
