I have been Quyen's regular customer since June 2022. She is the sweetest Stylist. She is a perfectionist when it comes to hair and makeup. She will make you looked beautiful. I am very picky when it comes to makeup and she always make me look glamorous. I wished Quyen could be my own personal stylist. If you want a GREAT stylist, she is the ONE.

Quyen and her team were amazing to work with on a recent wedding as the HMUA team for the bride, her bridesmaids, and her mom. All the ladies looked Stunning the entire day due to Quyen's skill and artistry! As a wedding planner/coordinator, it's easy for me to tell which vendors are professional, dependable, and easy to plan and communicate with. Quyen was all of these things and more. I would highly recommend Quyen and Salon Q for your next special event!

I have to say by far best salon I have been to! I was able to be squeezed in very last minute and regardless was still provided with amazing customer service and my hair color results turned out perfect. If you are a local or just visiting, make sure this is your go to spot. You won't be disappointed.

Q is such a great makeup artist and hairdresser! She straight up knows what shes doing. She helped me look so pretty at my friend's wedding, I got so many compliments! Definitely recommendable and professional. I felt so confident in a crowd as I was empowered by her innate artist. Thanks for making me beautiful this day Q! Hope to see you again!

Quynh did exactly what I wanted when I came in for an updo for a wedding. I showed her a pic of the style I saw on IG and it looked almost exactly the same. It was absolutely STUNNING! She is very creative, talented and worked very quickly, too. She's also very sweet. I highly recommend her. Loved it so much I tipped her $20! lol

The Salon itself is great if you need a haircut or style but unfortunately there is a Barber named Amy that works there that is super unreliable and often rushes to get the job done due to lack of organization which in turn causes scheduling conflicts and mistakes. Being a 50 year man that works downtown I've often been canceled on or told last minute upon my arrival to come on a different day and no one likes wasting a lunch break!! Amy is very nice and has done an excellent job a handful of times but in this situation the bad experiences outweigh the good. My 22 year old son got a haircut and told me she was a little too touchy feely as well and it made him feel uncomfortable and he didn't return to get a second haircut. I don't think it was sexual just a little misplaced and unprofessional. I think Amy has a lot of potential and she does have years of skills. Amy if you read this I hope you use this as an opportunity to do better. All in all though Salon Q is well run and excellent place to get a haircut if you are a female. I don't know if they have any other barbers there but it might be worth a call and maybe you could take a chance on Amy, when the haircuts are good they're darn good!!

I had Thu to do make up on me. It was ugly and old fashioned. I am actually 15 years younger than my age but after she put make up on, I look 10 years older - like a grandma. Besides, she used the cheap foundation and powder that made my skin was rough and rashes after. I got itchy on my head for 3 days too even I washed my hair right after, it was caused by cheap hair volume holder. Price is also an issue. She charged me $100, but the owner, Quyen, said $120, that means the owner got $20 from me for doing nothing while she already shared the cost with Thu. The make up was for my special event photo shots. I thought professional would have done it better but not. I was very regretted to trust this salon and I had no time to remove to do it again myself. I did much better than that, at least I am still able to show my youngness and natural beauty rather than rough skin and old fashion grandma.

Ive been seeing Chi Quyen for a little over 2 years, and she's wonderful. She puts up with all my crazy colors and constant bleaching, glad I've settled down since then. My hair was so damaged prior to meeting her, and i had around 7 shades of blond in my hair, it took time, but Chi Quyen fixed it. Her hands are really magic. My sister and I see her regularly now, and i honestly will not trust anyone else with my hair. I have fine, thin, wispy hair that is prone to breakage, add constant bleaching in that, and you can imagine how damage it can get. but i'm happy to say, it's long, healthy and strong because of chi quyen. she really cares about your hair, it bothers her when the results are not perfect. you go to her once, and you won't want anyone else touching your head.

Salon Q is my go to hair salon. Chi Quyen is the best hair stylist I've found over the years. I trust her with my hair. I'm always happy with the results when going to her. See photos from my 2 different visits. One is red balayage on short hair & one is red balayage on long hair.

Quyen was an amazing person. She was kind and was able to accommodate me with her busy schedule. I appreciate her in doing that because I had a last minute photo session and I needed a make-up artist. Please don't hesitate to call/text Quyen for your booking needs. I have monolids and I know it can be challenging for make-up artists. However, I was completely blown away by Quyen's skills. I had other make-up artists in the past but she really did an amazing job. I also had my hair styled with Quyen and it came out perfect to accommodate the hair accessory for the photoshoot.

I love getting my hair cut here. They always listen to your requests, how short you want it and they do not cut shorter than what you've requested. They may make suggestions to ensure you get the best cut to remove damage or to fit your face shape/hair texture better, but will still listen to you. I've never had an issue with my haircuts in the last 5 years that I've been coming here. My sister recommended this place \\u0026 I haven't gone anywhere else since.
