I recently purchased a LG Laundry Tower from Howard's Huntington Beach with assistance from Diane Dao, product specialist. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about appliances, as well giving me information regarding available rebates.

Our washer died with no warning. A-1 Certified Appliance Repair recommended Speed Queen washer sold at Howard's. So at 4:20 Thursday afternoon we dashed off to see Rudy at Howards and purchase a new washer. What a great experience. We were shown the model that we had decided to purchase to make sure that the model we chose met our needs. Made arrangements for earliest delivery, which was Saturday. What a smooth delivery, installation and old machine pickup. We were informed the delivery would be between 8 - 11 am. About 10 minutes before 8 a call was received stating that the truck would be there within 10 minutes. What an efficient team. By 8:03 the machine was installed, old machine loaded on the truck, tailgate lifted and we waved goodbye. Needless to say, I was impressed.

if you are looking for appliances you will not be disappointed with Diane Dao. she helped us pick an appliance package for our new kitchen. diane provides wonderful customer service, she helped with the extended warranty and a great price. when our remodel was delayed she had our appliances kept in their warehouse and kept in touch to arrange delivery on our schedule. thank you Howard's for having great associates like Diane!

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES HERE. Honestly buy them at Best Buy, or from another small business but not here.11 months ago we came to this Howard’s and met with a guy who was the equivalent of a used car salesman. He upsold us on a refrigerator and dishwasher with the extended warranty saying that by spending more money we were going to have less problems. The refrigerator was delivered the next day- the dish washer not so much. We waited 2 months for the dish washer that the guy told us was definitely going to be in stock “in the next few weeks.” I’m not an unreasonable person, if he had told us it would be two months we probably would have picked up a different dishwasher.He told us with the extended warranty that we wouldn’t have to deal with the manufacturer, that we could just come in and see them- and having dealt with manufacturers before this was appealing so we spent the ridiculous prices on warranties.Well surprise surprise the refrigerator is now not working. We went to the manual, we did all the troubleshooting- the thing is broken. So I call Howard’s since the extended warranty is supposed to cover 7 day service and guess what? Since it’s only been 11 months- we have to go through the manufacturer. Now you can tell me I should have read the paperwork more closely and maybe that’s true- but this sales associate also out and out lied to us and I am furious. Now we have to wait weeks for the manufacturer, we’ve lost hundreds of dollars in groceries and I’ll spend a fortune eating out until our refrigerator can be repaired.Don’t shop her- go literally anywhere else. If you do, don’t buy the warranties- they’re worthless. These guys are liars and they will do anything to get a sale. You will spend thousands of dollars for products that won’t last a year and the customer service will not care about you at all.

After having a horrible experience with Best Buy, I went to Howard's and the Product Specialist Ben Gomez had what I wanted and it was delivered next day. I will go to Howard's from now on.

My experience was just ok. There were no other customers, and no cars parked out front. I was approached by an employee, and then quickly handed off to someone else. Poor selection, and told me that I should wait to buy a stove until the next holiday sale. It was just not enthusiastic towards making a deal.

This is my first time buying from Howards during the July 4th sale and it was such an amazing experience because of my sale representative, Diane Dao. She was straightforward, knowledgeable, and very attentive to details. She walked us through all the options available and informed us all the pros and cons of each appliance. Thanks to her, we were able to pick out 2 sets of washer and dryer, a set of pedestal, a gas range, and an OTR microwave, all come with great prices and warranty. She was also there during the entire process from ordering till delivery. Even though we made adjustments to our order along the way, she always makes sure to modify everything we want and follow up as soon as possible. If you look to buy any appliance for your home, consider coming to Howards and requesting Diane Dao as your sale rep. They will not disappoint you from price to service!

The only reason I gave this place one star I couldn't give it a zero or minus stars. I went in the store between 1 and 2pm yesterday. There were two employees in the store playing on a computer and no- ZERO customers I walked into the TV area- yet to be acknowledged. I looked around and decided to leave- when I asked the two people playing on the computer if they worked there. I got a "yes" and they turned back to their computer! If this is the way Howard's does business I want no part of this firm! In the past I've done business with Long Beach with a much better outcome.

I bought a $700. Washing machine that doesn't work. They wanted to charge me$300. To take back the piece of crap back . I tried having their service guy come out and he says that's how it is supposed to agitate with no water in the extra deep tank. They treat you like your stupid. It's shredding my clothes. That's what it is supposed to do??? Don't buy from Howards. They don't stand by their cheap machines. If I can stop one person from buying from them then I will feel better. I should have gone to Home Depot. Expensive Lesson learned.

Brand new washing machine doesn't work.never has worked from day one. I got to pay hundreds of dollars for a restock fee. They are a rip off. Don't go there.

I bought a dryer brand new from this location. It was delivered the next day, and as soon as I started using it, I noticed a super loud "clunking" noise immediately. Then I started really looking at the machine, and noticed a few scuffs and used parts inside the tub. It was a brand new....refurbished dryer. I called and let them know, and it was so bad, they were able to hear the sound of the clunking on the other end of the phone. Ok, no problem, I get it. Maybe it was a lemon. They didn't have anymore in stock, so I waited a few more days for them to get another shipment of these in, and their team came and swapped it out. Cool. My husband hooked it up, and it was fine. Then I got the gas bill for the month. $200. I then started to notice the smell of gas coming from inside the dryer when I opened it to remove clothes. My husband checked it out, and said the gas line was hooked up right and I thought maybe I was imagining the gas smell. Then the next month, the gas bill came in. $200. Then again. We've boiled it down, to a gas leak coming from the inside of the dryer. I had assumed the raise in the gas bill was from the inflation/spike in utility bills from the beginning of the year. Nope. Connections aren't leaking. There's a problem with the gas leaking from INSIDE the dryer. Another 3 months of $200 gas bills. So, we've shut off the gas. I would call them to come fix it, but the fact that this is the second faulty machine, that I paid full price, brand new, in full for (this is my first NEW appliance purchase as well) from this Howard's, and that this thing could have...potentially caught fire..well, I'm over it. Don't risk your family's safety. I'm so let down. I hope you never have to go through this.

1st trip here no one seemed to want to even talk to me... didn't have much time, so I left. Came back today & talked to a pleasant young man that didn't really seem to know much about the products. Browsed on my own then picked out a microwave to purchase, only to be told they only deliver... for $60. Or, I could drive to Pico Rivera to pick it up. Apparently there's no other option as this location is just a showroom??What's the point of advertising a product for a price if there will be a mandatory delivery charge? Not only that I see advertisements for free delivery... maybe it only applies for over a certain dollar amount. I went down the street to Lowe's & picked up basically the same thing for about the same price. All the other appliances in my kitchen were purchased from Howard's over 15 years ago... at the time they were great, but I won't be back.
