I DO NOT RECOMMEND HONDA WORLD IN WESTMINSTER, CA to anybody.I am giving them ONE (1) STAR because the SALES DEPARTMENT DOES NOT have any INTEGRITY and went back on their words and promises to me. Therefore, making my promise to them (with giving them FULL STARS REVIEWS and HIGH PRAISES NULL/NULLIFIED.The ONE (1) STAR HIGH PRAISE is for Honda World's SERVICE DEPARTMENT (Mr. Bart Conway). He kept his words and INTEGRITY with me.As for the Sales Dept and Sales Guy and Managers... First, with Joshua Islas (the Sales guy): He has no Integrity whatsoever. He told me one thing after another that were not true, and when he finally found the answers (that leaves him wrong), he blamed me for doing the wrong thing (to sit the blame to me). When I asked for incentives for my troubles and his lack of integrity, he said that he couldn't help me because he's "only a sales guy" and "do you get it" because he couldn't help me anymore and that I should ask the Sales Manager for incentives (not him). No, I don't get it. You did me wrong, then you should fix the problem(s) - not passing the problems onto others to fix for you.Come the day off the appointment, I came 30 minutes early to check-in with Sales Dept first. They were not prepared for me. Another word(s) from Joshua Islas is/are lies. I met with Sales Manager Mr. Vinh Nguyen. I informed him of my situation and how Joshua Islas informed me to look for him on the day of my appointment with Service and ask about incentives for my troubles. Mr. Nguyen didn't seem to know what I was talking about, but he offered an incentive of a gas card ($100.00 with). I did not want that and asked for free oil changes. He agreed and offered me TWO (2) years of oil change (1 year = 2 to 3 oil changes = $300-$400) for my trouble. He then said that he would give me a gas card if I give him high praises and stars in my reviews for Honda Word of Westminster, CA. Because if I don't, I won't get the gas card and he would look bad and get in trouble with his bosses. I agreed to give him high praises and full stars because he seemed really nice, helpful.Then a couple of days later, I called and checked with the Service Dept to see if my oil changes went through (as promised). I bought a 5-Star package that gives me THREE (3) years of oil change and another TWO (2) years of oil change (Incentive from Mr. Vinh Nguyen) - Service Dept said that they don't see any of the oil changes in my profile. Therefore, I called and tried to speak with both the Finance person and Mr. Vinh Nguyen. I could not connect with any of them and had to leave both of them a voice message each person (early in the day). I didn't get any calls back. I called Austin later that evening, still to no avail. I then called the next day.Mr. Vinh Nguyen informed me that he cannot honor his word and give me the oil changes that he promised me because I also purchased the 5-Star program with them in it. He informed me that he could not: (1) add the 2 years to the already purchased oil changes and/or (2) cancel the 5-Star program's oil changes to give me his 2 years worth of oil changes. That there is no way he can do this. He informed me that he would not offer me the 2 years of oil changes if he knew that I already both the oil changes from the 5-Star program. This is news to me.

BE AWARE!!! DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! Trust the ratings, my senior mother purchased a "Certified car" from them and it was a piece of junk. Sales people dishonest and will ripe you off. The sales people work with the finance department to throw in hidden fees and will totally up charge. My mother is stuck with a piece of junk car while paying a $550 car payment for a base model HRV again used and a piece of junk with defects. Will not assist with the issues that were told to the associates they could care less after you sign the contract.

ETA: I followed up with Honda World to provide feedback about our experience and left a message for Tony (GSM) who never called back. I reached out again and this time spoke to Andy, New Car Sales Manager. Andy attempted to make things better by offering his apologies which I accepted but as I told him, I would never recommend purchasing a Honda from here.I definitely agree with the other one star reviews for this dealership. My recent visit to Honda World (on Black Friday) for a new car purchase was riddled with bait and switch tactics. During pricing negotiations, I was very clear that I am a straight shooter and did not want to waste their time or mine so I was only interested in their best and final offer. I gave them a good faith opportunity to earn my business and advised that I am ready to buy if we can both settle on a price. The New Car Sales Director, Vinh, nodded in agreement and offered me a deal that was less than enticing to close me right then and there. Given this, we left to another dealership approximately five miles south (Norm Reeves HB where we ultimately made our purchase). Unsurprisingly, I received a subsequent text message from Vinh a few minutes after leaving the lot offering me a better OTD price which renewed my interest in moving forward with Honda World. However, when we returned to sign the purchase agreement based on the aforementioned text, the purchase price was NOT what they offered in writing, in fact, it somehow jumped $1200 more! The assertion that their "number one priority is customer satisfaction" was not what we experienced. IMO proceed with caution if you plan on buying your next car here. Make sure you double check your purchase agreement before putting ink to paper and signing the contract. Lastly, I checked into Yelp for the 2 free AMC Gold Movie Tickets (with a test drive) and did not receive this offer as advertised.

I am so Happy I chose Honda World. My sales person Sean was so wonderful, he made the entire sales experience so easy. He explained all the features on my 2024 Civic Touring and how to use them. He made sure the car was cleaned, gassed up and ready to go by the time I was done in Finance. All the finance managers were so nice, and Kristi who completed all the documentation was super sweet. She explained the terms of the lease and made the financial information easy to understand. Overall, every person I had interaction with at the dealer was friendly and helpful and so welcoming. This was the best sales experience I have ever had. Thank you Honda World

I live in Riverside and drove down to Honda world for my car. You know how dealers tell you they have a car you looking for, then when you get there, that’s not the car, so they start trying to interest you in buying something else. Thankfully this dealer didn’t do that, it was exactly the car I asked them for, right down to the rims, I was happy because as I said I drove from Riverside to Westminster. The place very nice and clean, the lot had lost of options to choice from on the used and new side, and the guys was great who helped me out. I’m very please I made that driver, I came home with the car I wanted at the price I wanted, Thanks everyone at Honda world Westminster, you made my day.

This review is so long overdue. I initially came to Honda World to service my Odyssey after we moved down to Orange County. Henry Nguyen my service advisor is the best. He and the whole Honda World team have taken spectacular care of my car and it runs so smoothly. I they have the coolest waiting room with excellent cappuccino, and oil change that can’t be beat. Thank you, Henry!

If you know your car,don't let them tell you what you need to do with your car. Today I have learned a new lesson, Honda accord car brakes can be as low as 1mm.If you don't want to change you don't need to do it. After few years with this place, I have alot of paper, spent more than a new car'sPrice for the service. What I have learned is keep your paper , you will be surprised ,How diff they will tell you what issue your car has. Work with different people, some are good, some are not necessarily jobs they did it for my car.Just wish I can find aGood man give me a better service.

SERVICE REVIEW: My mother is a senior in her 80s, hard of hearing, and English is her second language. Her car only has 11K miles on it and she went in for an oil change. She left being $400 poorer. Minor service is all she needed which is around $139, but they added expensive unnecessary fluff, and of course she couldn't comprehend what was happening. They took advantage of a senior citizen and as Leisure World is nearby and the area has a lot of non-English speakers, I wouldn't be surprised if this is standard practice. I am outraged. Tried reaching the manager but have gotten the runaround. This dealership is rotten. Do not let your parents get their cars serviced here.

My car was involved in a rear end collision and my insurance company sent me to Honda World body shop for a estimate. The estimate writer Fernando had bad attitude from the start and did not perform a proper estimate. He refused to open the truck and see the structural damage to the body. Fernando stated that if he opened the trunk he is now liable if I got into a accident after I left. I told him I would open and close the trunk releasing him of liability. He still refused and said he is not going to rewrite the estimate, and further stated he gets ZERO commission if they don't take the car apart looking for additional damage. That explains everything, not enough money in it for him to just write a proper estimate when the vehicle is close to the dollar limit before getting totaled. Sounds like some shady business tactics to me. Good job Fernando!

Please read this and be very careful.I have to say that the management of OC Honda World on Beach Boulevard should be ashamed of themselves because their COMPLIMENTARY WHEEL ALIGNMENT CHECK at the Service Checkpoint is a sham and a scam to take advantage of the women and Honda owners who don't know much about auto mechanics.You can see from the photos on YELP and at the Service Check in, they have a big sign "COMPLIMENTARY WHEEL ALIGNMENT CHECK" as if it is a good thing they offer to their Honda customers. But it is actually a scam to make more money from you. Here is why I said this and took my time to post it here to keep you informed about this.I have been to Honda World several times for a number of reasons. But here is why you have to be careful when taking your vehicle into Honda World for service or to take the COMPLIMENTARY WHEEL ALIGNMENT CHECK. I had the alignment checked on my one year old Honda by an alignment shop and they found just a tiny bit of on the right front wheel and they adjusted it and showed me the new computer readings and they are within specifications. Then I went to Honda World to have them do the COMPLIMENTARY WHEEL ALIGNMENT CHECK and they loosely strapped the gadgets onto the outside of my tires and do their check for about a minute and then the Service Advisor and two of the mechanics called me over and showed me on the monitor that my vehicle has a severe CAMBER ( wheel top tilted in) problem on the Rear Driver side wheel and I have to do the Wheels Alignment Service.I asked them if they would print out the report for me and they refused. So I took a picture of the screen for the record.So you have to be very careful because nothing is for free and they are a business and to make money from you. But when they do something like this, you have to think twice about this place.I did had a conversation with one of the mechanics who assisted with the complementary wheel alignment check, and he admitted that the machine is a very old machine and is not accurate. Then I asked him then why is it out there to do the complementary check? And he just walk away.
