I was shopping for a buddies Bday who is a huge cigar smoker. The shop owners son, who was working the register, was extremely helpful. I was out of my element not knowing anything about cigars, and he made it such an easy and pleasant visit. Thank you!!

Really enjoyed this place, great selection of cigars. The staff were helpful and welcoming, had went the extra mile and recommended me some cigars that required him to dig around in the back ! He got me set up with a quality zippo, cutter and a few cigars! Definitely the best prices for cigars, even gave me a free empty cigar box !Would recommend, I’m always stocking up here!

I love this spot. As an avid cigar smoker there isn’t much you won’t find at Hiland. On top of their great selection and prices, they have an amazing humidor. The cigars are always at peak quality, and the customer service is always great.

The is quite possibly the best cigar shop in Orange County. Talk about unassuming...this place looks like a nothing smoke shop from the outside. But you walk in and you instantly recognize it is very special. There's the sweet smell of the loose leaf jars of pipe tobacco sitting just outside the giant humidor. Then you walk in and here's the short of it: they have the best selection and best prices I've ever seen. I've been buying cigars since the 1980s and this is the place. I smoke Fuentes and they have the largest selection ive ever seen by far. And each stick is about 20% to 30% less. That's three dollars off a normally $15 stick for $11.99. What more can you ask for than the widest selection of the best cigars at the best prices? I travel from Irvine to exit Bolsa off the 405 to get mine. Now understand this isn't a lounge. It's just a joint where you get your cigars to smoke somewhere else. So if you're looking for a boys' club then go somewhere else. But you pay for those big leather chairs. Here you just get the best tobacco at the best prices and you're on your way. This is THE hidden gem of a place. Do yourself a favor and check it out. This place is what Yelp was designed for: to spread the word of a place you would just never find without this review. Cheers Roamy and to those aficionados: you're welcome.

Great humidor! The owners are awesome and friendly and have a good nose for cigars. It's because theyre smokers themselves. This is one of the larger humidors Ive found in the area and they do a good job of keeping the stogies in good condition. Was even able to find some limited edition cigars that I couldnt find at my local shop. Took the time to walk me through some of the new sticks they got in and showed me some that I asked about. This is definitely my go to place when I'm in the area. Hopefully I'll get the chance to smoke with these guys!

I encourage all that want to indulge in a great smoke, pick up some quality cigars from Hiland’s Cigars. Mike is very much interested in ensuring you have a great experience and will explain knowledgeably to each cigar in his stock. His approach to making you feel comfortable while browsing and even taking the time to have a conversation with you to understand your likings for a perfect cigar pairing is extremely inviting. Him and his son both want your visit to be one of many and not solely in and out one time profit. There are also many novelty items in his shop for those looking for different selections. Great place, great staff, great selection.

Went into Highland as I needed to get a cutter, lighter and some cigars. Met Mike at the counter and, frankly, was delighted by the attentiveness of the customer service experience and Mike’s knowledge. Mike was very helpful and easy going in helping me choose the right purchases for a gift. I framed up my price range and Mike provided me with many alternatives within and below the range I stated. No hard up-sell at all, and his suggestions provided me with a better gift purchase than I had originally thought to procure - this is where his knowledge came in very handy. You cannot replace solid, knowledgeable insight and customer service. An online purchase would not have provided me with this outstanding outcome. I will be coming back for my own use cause Mike demonstrated and ability to listen to his customer and provide delightful customer service. Cheers.

Everybody needs to go in and show some love to Mike. He's a great guy and very helpful to the noobs and experienced. He has a great selection and well worth the time to stop and pick up some great quality smokes. Both gentlemen I met there were willing to help set me up with a good experience. No intimidation tactics or pressure to purchase anything. But pretty sure once you go in and speak with them, you'll feel very welcomed and that is worth the money spent there. Highly recommended.
