Very personable and friendly. Quality work. They set a deadline when the transmission work would be completed and met the deadline. The cost was expensive but transmission work is expensive. Very professional!

Golden West Transmission was recommended to me by two people. I took my car there for the first time a few months ago. My Honda needed a new starter. The price Golden West Transmission quoted - compared to the Honda Dealer sounded to good to be true. With the same warranty on service and the part, I decided to give them a try. i won't deny I wasn't nervous going there, 1st time (in my mind for such a major repair. I couldn't have been happier with their friendliness, willingness to explain and re-explain. Commitment time was met. And my car has had no more starter issues. I will be returning For additional future repairs. I believe You will be happy with your service.

Do not take your vehicle here,, what was a simple thermostat change,, ended up in needing a new transmission. Had them fix the transmission,, only to find a puddle of oil on my driveway the day after took it back and they stated that I needed a new engine..

Took in my stick car in cause it was jumping out of gear. Amazed they never looked at it first. Just jumped in and came back saying I needed new transmission. Took it to Jiffy lube in Westminster and found low on gear oil. Cleared up within a week.Service: Transmission

I brought my 2013 Ford Explorer in with gear shifting issues. I was thinking the worse with potential transmission problems. Turned out to be a loose nut and bolt on the linkage. Miguel and team were very honest. he even charged half price of the original estimate for the diagnostic. Great Job! I will be back for sure on other services.Services: Auto engine diagnostic

Zero Stars Misdiagnosed a leaky transmission drain pan gasket that didn't need to be fixed. Pinched the gasket that didn't need to be installed. Charged me $278 that I shouldn't of paid. Tried to lure me back with other work that needed to be done. Just another hole in the wall dump. Typical California tech bs, I've learned now to take my vehicle to out of state if I want it done right. Disabled vet that was ripped off. Stay away from this place, they don't know what they are doing

Hands down Best automotive shop experience I've ever had. I've been a mechanic myself for many years and when you work on cars all day the last thing you want to do is work on more on your free time. So I take my personal vehicles here. It's a family run business, the owner Jerry is a real honest guy with a small town personality. They are extremely professional and their prices are better than anywhere else I have been. This is the only place I trust with my vehicles.

Highly recommend this place, very professional Jerry help me get in my Cadillac ATSV back in the road with the rear differential, The price was very good and better than other places, he had my car ready the next day, the best in tow let me tell you that, thank you guys!!!!
