Monica from Backstage is very rude about how she does things. She went as far as to say Macy's is above the law! They have a nasty trick of pricing items lower on a display stand then when you checkout the price suddenly doubles. Apparently those items are not supposed to be there but the stand and sign are clearly for them! Its such a big lie and an obvious one too.

apparently when you make a purchase from #macys you need to oprn it right away to make sure it is not missing any parts. unfortunately i did not, and my return window has passed, and their customer service is a useless call center not in the us.#macys#badcustomerservice

Yes its a bit unorganized and messy but what store isnt these days? This mall is sad and dying but the quality is still there! I still pick up my chanel and lancome makeup from their counters. Yen at chanel is so kind and amazing! She actually gives great honest advice and doesnt push ugly colors on u! They honor all the discounts and give plenty of samples bc nobody is there to say otherwise! Sometimes I order items and have them delivered to the store and peruse while im there. I always find something cool and for a great price! Dont miss out on this hidden gem!

...this poor macys has been going downhill but I still love it! I love my Macy's jewelry, especially Effy & Le Vian! And I love the customer service. The ladies are always so nice and helpful. My favorite sales associate is Vanessa. She's so knowledgeable and very honest with what looks good on me or not. And with the best price for the last 30 days! It's always so busy but she's good about making time for me and ensuring that I get what I want. Macys needs to value associates like her especially if they want to stay a competitive department store!

I'm believing this Macy's store is worse than the outlet store. The price is always off the hook. Either the price is too high or the brand-name clothing is out of fashion in society. There is insufficient size, and the styles are not offered, causing people to think, "What is that for?"I'm not recommending anyone come and shop at this location. I can't find the employees to assist merchants.cannot greet customers, can't answer the question, is low-key in thinking, and lacks business skills. Oftentimes, the customer avoids asking. The stiffness and staring represent the response when the customer asked questions.

What a mess! This Macy's location used to be so well kept, organized and a pleasure to shop at. Now, most of my shopping experience is stressed, lost & delayed due to the chaotic lack of housekeeping. It has been hard to find what I need lately. Clothes all over the place. On the floor, in the wrong areas, piled messily here and there. The only reason why I did not give only a 1-star rating is thanks to Susie. She is new and was the only associate on the floor that was busily picking up the mess that un-mannered customers left all over the place. As busy as she was trying to bring back organization out of the chaos, she took the time to assist me with my questions. And she did so with a genuine smile and genuine care. She is definitely a keeper and totally deserves a raise! Macy's Execs who may be reading this, please promote Suzie as well as bring back the Macy's pride so that people will want to shop with you again. Right now, it just looks like I am shopping at a Ross (and even some of their stores are better kept than this one).

Omg what the hell is going on here...... the store is a disaster. I haven't been in the store in years now. Usually do my shopping on line. I had to come in due to make up order. It was the packaged Carelessly and of course was broken. Soo I was here for a return. Amazingly this store is going down hill. I will continue to shop on line.... Oh n returns and check out takers forever be ready to wait

Denise was so patient, friendly, attentive, and provided exceptional customer service. She was able to match me with a lip combo, order items that were not in the store, and match me to a creamy blush that was the perfect shade. I was also interested in an item from Benefit, and she walked me over to help me find what I was looking for. Thank you for the positive experience, Denise.

I went to get my makeup done at the Mac counter at Macy's in the west minister mall and was helped by Camille. She was so kind and sweet and DEFINITELY a great makeup artist. I would go back to her again for all my makeup needs. My makeup looks flawless and she did a great job! Couldn't recommend her more!!!

What has happened to Macy's? I used to work at the South Coast Plaza location in the early 90's when it was "Bullock's" then changed to Macy's. It was a classy department store. We were here this past weekend for my mother-in-law. She needed a new bedspread/duvet. Luckily we found a really nice ONE in the clearance section. Yes, ONE. They have a quite an inventory but some were way over-priced. I mean, really, who in the world would spend 250 bucks for bedding that is kinda ugly? The store is a mess. We got there at Noon when it opened and the two departments that we stopped in, Women's undies and bedding, both looked like they were struck by a tornado. I remember working at the Bullock's/Macy's back in the day, and our department would have to be straightened up that evening so when the store opened the next morning, it would be immaculate. It's really sad to see this. The shopping experience is dead. I honestly shop online for this reason. I don't want to deal with scavenging. Nothing was in its place in Bedding. I literally was straightening up this department because I felt I needed to! Checking out took forever. There were like two associates at the cash registers for the entire home store area. Is Macy's not hiring enough coverage? I am rewarding 2-stars just because we found, with much concerted effort, something that would work for mother-in-law. This is definitely generous.

I have been buying Lancome for too many years to count, always going to the same lady. Their inventory over the last 6-9 months is HORRIBLE. I can get it online all day long, but not in person. It is a shame that brick-and-mortar stores are losing business to online purchasing, but in this case I have no choice.

Went to the Mac counter to get my make up done for my wedding. I worked with Joanne. There are not enough enough compliments I can give her! She was absolutely amazing and I walked out of there looks absolutely gorgeous. I had so many compliments on my make up and she was a absolute pleasure to work with. She really knows her stuff! Thank you Joanne for helping to make my special day so great

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. This store is overpriced and has very few sales people and the ones they do have are mean and inept. I will celebrate when they go out of business. They had multiple items on a 40% off rack that were all full price. When I found out my item was full price (after searching the whole store for a cashier) they pointed me somewhere else where they wasted more of my time until they finally told me it was full price. This wasn't some customer putting stuff on a different rack than it was supposed to be. Everything on the 40% off rack was full priced. They were mean and rude too when telling me it was full price despite me being nothing but nice. I honestly don't know how they are still in business.
