I was recently introduced to the DP Classics Team after deciding to do an upgrade to my 69 Camaro interior, sound system and a few other items on a never ending list. My initial intro was talking with Nick and Darryl, which led me to making the decision to bring my Camaro to them for the work based on their knowledge, friendliness, and passion for classic car restoration and modification. When I arrived, I was met by Pat. Once again I was instantly pleased with their obvious passion for classic cars, knowledge, and true interest in listening and offering their experience to help you reach the ultimate results. During the process of removing, and installing the entire new interior, sound system upgrade, r&r an original rear window defogger as well as check out a number of other things that came up along the way, not to mention regular communication to suggest items to better complete my vision ( custom door handles and window cranks, premium carpet and sound material under carpet, upgraded seatbelts) etc., all of which made a big difference in the end result. When the time came to pick up my Camaro, Darryl called and went through everything and we arranged a day and time. When I arrived, the car was out front, shiny clean, the whole team that worked on different parts of the car all spent a few minutes telling me about their part and going over little details. I fired her up and took it for a drive to see how it felt ( they did a tune and oil change and test drive/diagnostic at my request ) and drove and was very happy with everything that was done. I have to say I’m not easy to please and very picky about my things and it seems harder to find services today that treat things as if it were their prized possession. In closing, not only have I found a great Team that truly loves what they do and cares about their service, but I feel I’ve found a group I hope to visit and plan future projects with for years to come !

I have a 1957 Chevy with Corvette engine & Corvette suspension. I made a mistake by not going with DP Classics in the first place. I had issues that needed to be resolved. Darrel and his sons, Nick and Patrick explained how the issues can be corrected. I was given an itemized estimate with a timeline. Much to my surprise everything went smoothly and in a timely manner. I highly recommend DP Classics, they are personable, professional and knowledgeable.

Went in for an aluminum radiator installation in my Buick GS. Made a point of asking them to keep and return my original date-coded radiator. On pick up was told "sorry, we threw it away." Still bitter after all these years. Also was upsold on their GPS anti-theft system. Will never go back1957 210 2-door sedan1967 Buick GS 4001967 Cadillac Eldorado1968 Camaro

I love this shop. These guys are straight professional their work is top notch and they give the best advice. I truly feel they work with your budget and will make room for your classic. I'm not dropping big multi thousand dollars on my car but they treat me like I do. You will not get this level of professionalism else where. Been coming to these guys for over 3 years and my project car is looking great.

Let me start out by stating "Great Service". Had my 1957 Chevy Nomad gauge package updated and added power door locks. Had to wait approximately 3 weeks to drop car off. During that time I was updated through Emails to confirm my scheduled appointment. Once the car was in the shop I was updated the status and work was completed as scheduled. The day after I picked up the car received a call from Daryl too ensure that everything was ok car wise. Every thing went well and could not as for a better experience. Highly Recommend DP Classics. Wish I had found them much sooner.

First off, the owner and manager are very nice guys and I paid my bill in full with zero disputes. That being said, this shop represents themselves as one of the best in the country, but I found their work to be way too slow, unreliable, and overpriced. I scheduled a time to drop off my truck weeks in advance but it still took them over 7 weeks to complete approximately 20 hours of work. Despite being professed experts, they took 1.5 hours to install a 1 wire alternator, 1.5 hours to disconnect a brake controller, and 8.25 hours to install a rear bumper. All at a rate of $145/hour. After pushing deadlines over and over again, when I picked up the truck after the main project of the rear gas tank had been completed, I was told it was entirely operable. I specifically asked if the gas gauge reading a 1/4 was correct and the manager told me it was. Although this shop emphasizes safety, my truck made it only 1.4 miles before running out of gas on a busy street. When employees came to put fuel in the tank, they had the audacity to tell me the truck has "wiring demons" even though I just paid them to wire the gauge. After spending $3,200 and waiting 7 weeks, if I was told the gas gauge was broken, I would have sent them the $32 replacement. Once home, I asked to have the gauge fixed in the next couple days because I was unhappy about what happened. The owner told me I had to come back next week because despite them being the best, only the owner had the knowledge and tools to fix my gas gauge. I cut my losses here even though I explained to them I wanted to complete tens of thousands in restoration. In the end, I felt I waited way too long for overpriced and unreliable work. P.S: I was quoted 4 hours of labor (almost $600) to remove the cab gas tank to complete my project, but elected to do it myself due to all the delay. It took me just over 1 hour to remove the 4 seat and 9 tank bolts.

Having watched a friend of mine struggle through a custom build with these folks, I am astonished to see all of the positive reviews this shop gets.Frank (a prior review) mentions some good advice about handshakes. Getting everything in writing would be prudent with these folks.

These guys easily are the best mechanic in the area. They are very knowledgeable and excellent at what they do. They are also very trustable in giving you the right diagnosis and most fair estimate for your repair. Great service, honest people, and my car is always taken care of, if needed. Thanks guys! Thanks for fixing my 1970 chevelle Patrick !
