I'm a prescriber .I called on 01/05/24 to prescribe medicine for one of my patients ,after giving some unnecessary information to the automated system finally someone in the pharmacy picked up the phone and after explaining to her ,she asked me to HOLD ON FOR A QUICK SECOND it took them about 11 more minutes to get back to me while my other patients at the office waiting . The second lady introduced herself as the pharmacy manager and when I complained about the long wait time ,she said she was also busy ,I told her , so why your employee asked me to hold on just ONE QUICK SECOND ??!! She could have told me to call back later or let me leave a voice mail . The manager did not sound very friendly especially to a colleague who was giving them business. She said if you want to complain you must .... I didn't let her continue and said No thank you I send the prescription to another pharmacy. If they treat the doctor who is busy at work this way ,what about customers??As a prescriber I will never call that pharmacy for my patients again.

I have been a loyal customer at CVS Pharmacy for several years, and I can confidently say that I will never consider using any other pharmacy. The pharmacists, technicians, and the entire staff at this location are truly exceptional, consistently going above and beyond to serve their patients.A recent experience exemplifies their exceptional commitment to customer care. About a week ago, I had just left my oncologist's office and urgently needed to pick up a prescription that she had newly prescribed. Unfortunately, I found myself stuck in heavy traffic, and it seemed I would arrive at the pharmacy just a few minutes after their closing time. In a bit of a panic, I called the pharmacy to inform them of my situation and stress how crucial it was for me to obtain the medication that day.To my amazement, both the technician and the pharmacist collaborated to ensure I received my prescription, despite the fact that I was running late. I arrived shortly after their official closing time, and to my great relief, they were both waiting for me. They had willingly extended their working hours, solely to provide me with my essential medication. This act of kindness and dedication is something I will never forget.Every encounter I've had with the team at this pharmacy is marked by their unwavering commitment to providing exceptional service. They consistently make me feel secure and well-cared for, which, in today's world, is a rare and precious find, whether at a pharmacy or almost anywhere else. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have discovered this pharmacy and am profoundly grateful for everything they have done and continue to do for me as their patient.— Jaime E.

prescription refills always late. I get a massage that the prescription will be ready on certain time and when I go to pick them up it is not ready, customer service sucks

Was assisted by the pharmacist name, Angela C and a tech named Jasmin R. It was my first time at his pharmacy and needed the medication transfer. Their customer service was exceptional and they went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed. They didn’t only do the job, but they did it with compassion. That is a difference.

Always polite, no long wait. Medication always waiting for me to pick up after I call in a refill. On automatic refills, they have an automated phone system that calls you every day for a week reminding you to pick up your meds before they return to the shelf.

I love these girls! Had gone to another CVS and called multiple sites to get in for vaccine with no luck! These girls helped me get in, I was out in less then 30 minutes . They saved my life when I had given up trying to get in! Thank you!

On today's date 09/17/21, the pharmacy Angela and the pharmacy technician, that starts with a J., was helping my parents with the flu shots today. It seems that because of the epidemic, they allow pharmacy technicians to give vaccines. I feel more confident in pharmacists giving out vaccines because they went to pharmacy school and studied to obtain their pharm. D. I understand that pharmacy techs can give vaccines but at least be confident. The pharm tech was wavering even when measuring the medicine and thus was shaking when he gave my dad a IM shot in the deltoid. My dad told me it was the most painful shot he ever experienced. The pharmacy tech looked a bit more confident when giving my mom the shot and thus, it was painless. I understand the pharmacy technician gives a lot of shots but they should be supervised by the pharmacist on staff as they are still inexperienced. That is the not even the main crux of the review. The reason for this review is that there isn't consistency in the advertisement of 5 dollar off coupon if you get a flu shot. They sure posts signs outside the pharmacy windows but when my parents receive the coupon, it was 5 dollars off of 20! Wtheck. The last two years I've received the flu shot from this location it was 5 dollars off of 5. They didn't post anywhere that you need to spend 20 dollars to receive 5 dollars which expires a month from your flu shot. This is new to me. Perhaps this should be advertised 5 dollars off of $20 with a flu shot and be posted on the windows. I understand it is an incentive to get people immunized for the flu. When I first called the westminster mall cvs pharmacy store asking about this irregularity, the pharm tech who answered the phone initially said that sometimes the machine prints out 5 dollars off of 5 and sometimes it prints out 5 dollars off of 20 dollars purchase. And that it was random. It should not be like this. There should be some consistency.

Left this pharmacy purely because there's hundreds of other pharmacy that will be a little more considerate to me. As a trans person I encounter uneducated medical professionals occasionally, but it's especially irritating when picking up my medications. Almost every time I picked up my medication I was met with "is this for your son?" when i'm clearly there every 4 weeks to pick up my medication. How many times do I have to roll my eyes for you to get the memo. The pharmacist literally was so "confused" on how to explain my testosterone instructions to me when I was first prescribed my medication and actually just handed me my meds without consulting me on anything, when it would've taken her 5 seconds to look up testosterone's common uses and side effects. Thank god I'm educated on my own meds or she could've been responsible for me misusing a medication. It probably doesn't mean much to most people, but the general lack of care and desire to provide me as a trans person the same standard of care was pretty apparent. Medical staff should be educated on how to appropriately care for trans people, especially pharmacists who I rely on. I switched to Alto pharmacy and they've been so amazing. Staff is caring and considerate and uses correct name and pronouns and even has an option to include it on your patient profile. They also deliver my testosterone, which CVS doesn't.
