“My mom contributed quite a few items to the museum 10 years ago including my b e l l y board with many old San onofre surfing pictures with the heart and plan a ukulele and of course toe headed brother and I and my mom dad was probably out surfing longboard. Mom's bored with 14 ft long Redwood Bolsa 75 lb got surf by the Duke! This was 1939 to 19 45 to 1959... practically grew up there in Mammoth Mountain boating surfing hunting. Mom and Dad met at San onofre Beach when they woke up and they're sleeping bags on the sand”

The Staff (especially Robert) is very knowledgeable, friendly, professional. Small little gallery tucked behind Rose Bakery... a hidden gem! THE EXPERIENCE We bought a painting here for Mother's Day, they gave us 5 star service throughout the entire buying process, educating us about the artist and the painting. They wrapped up the painting very professionally and held it for us to pick up on Mother's Day as a surprise. They even offered to store it for a few weeks while our family moves. “This is an interesting gallery that is surprising large. Right across the street from South Coast Plaza in the Morton's Steakhouse parking lot. They have a lot of different types of paintings (acrylic, watercolor, etc.). They also have small art items, and artistically printed fabrics (scarfs, etc.). Well worth checking out!”

Even postcards make great gifts if you are looking to save both space and money.Was able to find the elusive baby Lady from Lady and the Tramp along with an artist MInnie postcard at a great price. I can tell you this is one of my favorite places --one great ticket in town go go go look up the art check up the glass he's got amazing jewelry there's nothing he doesn't have and if he hasn't got if he'll tell you where you could probably find it so by all means put this on your to-do list and check it out go shop happy and leave happy! It's conveniently located at Del Mar and Newport Boulevard which is just like if you were going to the Orange County Fairgrounds only instead of turning to go to the fair you would turn right and in a stone's throw it's right there on the right hand side never had a bad time always find a great thing if not more than one it makes you wish you won the lottery and his prices are reasonable he's more than fair he's one of the most realistic dealers and shops in Orange County so if you're looking for that one-of-a-kind item or great piece of art this is the place to go!”

“Went to a watercolor slam after work. It was really wonderful. We started with basic techniques and worked our way up to layering, using non-realistic palettes and other techniques. I was very satisfied with the class and will continue painting in my journal. Katherine is a great teacher because she meets you where you are. If you need baby steps, she's got you. If you need a push, she's there. She encourages and never criticizes. I'm timid and she helps me roar.”
