Albert Leung is a very uncaring doctor who is only interested in making money. I brought my dog here multiple times and each time I felt very unsure about the advise he was giving us. He was very dismissive about our concerns and ultimately I took the X-rays that he provided and got a second opinion. This second doctor was shocked that Albert had not warned us our dog had 6 months to live. Our dog had a heart lesion but Leung never warned us and in fact made it seem like it was not a big deal. He gave us medication for a completely different thing, bronchitis. How is it that Albert was not able to warn us when a different doctor using the X-rays Albert provided told us the truth. Clearly this “doctor” was only interested in taking money from us so that we would keep returning. He did not advise us that we should stop taking our dog to the park or that we should stop playing with hi because it would only make his condition worse. Please do not bring your animals here!!!

The doctor is great! His main focus is to help your pet. Everyone is very helpful and professional. Vet vist and any other add ons at reasonable price

Most reasonably priced Vet I've ever taken my dog to. I will never go anywhere else. Besides it being super affordable the staff there is awesome and the Doctor really cares and takes the time to answer any questions you may have so you leave there knowing exactly what's going on with your pet and what to do. I've been to a lot of Vets in my life and it seemed to me they're always trying to tack on all the extras so you leave there broke. Alamitos animal hospital was the exact opposite the Doctor gave me his opinion on what he thought was best and it was in and out very simple and to the point. When I went to pay I thought it was a mistake or they totaled it wrong. It was my first time taking my pitbull Silvy there and I'll never go anywhere else. Thank you guys for being so awesome and caring!

Dr Luong is a great vet. He only does walk ins and is very reasonable. No appointments needed. I have been going to this vet for many years now.

We like this vet clinic. It's walk in only. It's opens half day on Saturday. Dr. Albert has been very patient to our dogs and caring.

Dr. Albert is my favorite vet. He is more accessible than any other vet. He will talk to you by phone. He cares about animals and doesn't push over vaxxing. His prices are reasonable. His practice is busy because he is a great vet! But it's not hard to get in to be seen. Thank you Albert!

Most compassionate vet I've ever met. Listens to what you have to say about your pets issues and works with you on determining the problem. I've known Dr Leung since he first started and he's the best in my book.

Alamitos Animal Hospital is amazing. Dr. Leung is extremely caring and finds solutions to ease the financial burden as other reviewers have mentioned. I have taken my 3 cats to see him for flea medications. If it's only to get the flea prescription refilled, he does not charge for the visitation. I did not realize this until I called to confirm the status of the prescription. The staff said it was noted in my cats file, but there was no charge. I am assuming that Dr. Leung felt it was a quick 5-10 minute visit for the prescription. I have gone to a couple of different veternarian offices, and they charge for every little thing, especially a quick prescription visit. I am astounded by this, I had figured I was paying for the visit each time. I am still in shock because there aren't a lot of businesses like this anymore. I'll just keep bringing more pastries to the office. I have a friend who has a lot of cats (9 or more), and she brings them to see Dr. Leung. She has also mentioned how cost-effective it is to bring them to see Dr. Leung. The staff here are amazing and friendly. It feels like a family vibe at the office. Last Christmas, the office sent an office picture of Dr. Leung and his staff greeting card to my cats. That rarely happens anymore nowadays.
