Probably the best prices of any fish store anywhere. I picked up two beautiful OB peacock with a bright yellow base last Sunday for only $1 each. I returned today to buy 10 more.
When I looked at the mixed African cichlid tank that was filled on Sunday it now had some extra fat red tail catfish. They used the mixed African cichlids as feeders for the catfish ?
If the fish you use as feeders are higher grade than what other lfs sell that makes a powerful statement. I would have bought the fish…yellow ob are hard to find

I have been going here for many years since the store was run by my friend Sam. They have always had the best prices and when I moved to Arizona they helped pack all the fish I had bought from them with oxygen!
I returned recently and got a great flowerhorn for $20. Eric and May are two excellent employees there. Definitely a 5 star shop…go here first!

Friendly and the best prices, especially considering the nearby stores, some, which charge double or triple

I can't continue to support this store anymore. Prime example of "You get what you pay for". I've been coming here since 2012 and it has gone a bit downhill since 2016/2017 and it's pretty much at the point now where I don't risk buying live fish here, just dry goods. The fish are cheap for a reason. Fish health/quality is pretty hit or miss and there has been a bit more "miss" in the last few years. I wouldn't recommend buying fish from here if you don't have a quarantine tank. Even with the fish I've bought here that did survive, their colors were never the most vibrant compared to fish from other stores (roseline sharks for $7 each when most places sell them for $12-$15 ? There's a reason for that.. CHEAP QUALITY). “No guarantee” written on a sign in the window is the first red flag. That directly translates to “We know a lot of our fish are sick but we won’t do anything about it if they die on you.” ! My last straw with buying live fish here was in early 2023 when I saw that they had a bunch of 4 inch roseline sharks for only $25 each (they'd normally go for $35-$40 at that size) and I got a bunch of them. They ALL died ! Started off with like 5, a couple died, got a few more, then a few more died, got a few more, then the rest died. After a couple weeks, they all died. I don't know what they had but one of them had clear signs of hemorrhagic septicemia. I tested all of my water parameters and everything was good, which didn't surprised me because my bala sharks, pleco, tetras, and gouramis were perfectly fine. It was only the roselines that were dying left and right. Right after the last one died, I got a bunch of them from a couple different fish stores and surprise, surprise ! Not a single one of the new ones from the other fish stores have died since and it has been just over a year. Much more vibrant colors too. Since then, I've ONLY come to this store here and there for fish food since they're cheaper than most and on the way home from most of my friends' houses. As for live fish, I'll gladly drive an extra 20 minutes to Reef Tropical Fish in Anaheim or 45 minutes to CK Fish World in West Covina and pay more money for quality fish.

Just went in to buy a beta and decided to look around and the guy that worked kept staring at us none stop and when I asked if he needed help or something he said he worked there if you want you customers to buy something you shouldn’t follow them around like a dog giving them a mean look the whole time I don’t know if it was because I was in there with my boyfriend or if it was cause it was still early but definitely made me feel uncomfortable decided to go to the fish store right down the street instead. Try not to hound your customers next time some of us just like to browse first

Before covid I used to buy fish from them and they were cheap. Now after the pandemic I went to buy a few guppies to give my little sister as a pet and I asked an employee that I wanted 5 feeder guppies. He misunderstood and netted too many and tried to charge 5 dollars worth and I wanted only 5 guppies for 50 cents. He got annoyed and put most of them back in the tank and gave me 5 for 50 cents. The owned said "Next time I will charge 5 dollars per guppy". It goes to show they care more about profit than the wellbeing of their fish. Some people who bought goldfish before were complaining that they were dying from disease the next day. I wont be coming back here due how poorly they treat their customers and the fish they have in stock.

Beware of this fish store. Very bad customer service. They sold me sick fish that died the next day despite perfect water conditions in my well established freshwater tanks at home and refused to give me an exchange or refund when I was told I could the time of purchase. Nasty Greedy people who sells sick fish.

Hole in the wall, family business. Very reasonable price for everything in the store. Don't buy fish at pets mart and the likes before you come here first. These are not the best salesperson, but they are honest about their fish.

I love this fish store, they have an amazing selection of fish and supplies available every time I go, from tropical, pond and saltwater fish to fish tanks and food. Their prices beat any other pet store that is out there that sells fish and supplies. They’re always accommodating and friendly even when I show up at closing time they always say no worries come on in and how can I help you today.
