We have used Chris at Precision Diesel for over 12 years. He is an amazing, all around mechanic that has diagnosed and repaired numerous issues with my Peterbilt. He’s the first one we call when we have an issue.Services: Brakes

Chris was easy to talk to very informative and was able to diagnose the problem with my air suspension in minutes. The place might look a little rough around the edges, but I seriously recommend giving precision If you run into trouble with your rig.

Traveling from Bay Area to Long Beach New Year's Eve 2018. My son gave me this car while I was waiting for another and there was a family emergency and I had to drive to LB in this old but new to me car. 1 1/2 hour into drive I stop for gas and then the car starts making noise and starts to smoking. A female with zip knowledge of cars I was freaked the .... out. This gas station just of Hwy 5 was not a major one and had no one to help There was NOTHING around and car smoking and remember NYE, I was feeling hopeless and scared. I spotted up on a hill this place which looked alittle outta a movie. I breathed in and drove slowly up. I was greeted by a couple of dogs and a man. He had been working on something but stopped and came over to take a look. He said he was just about to leave but would check to see if he could find the parts. It only took him a few minutes to find out the problem, another 20 mins he found the parts however he had to drive into some town ( not one I could see in any direction) to get the parts. Chris had the car fixed and me safely on the road again in just under 2 hours. That day he was my Hero! If he had not been there or willing to help I cringe to think what would have happened. He was knowledgeable, friendly and Got it Done. Thanks so much Chris!

I was returning from Sacramento heading towards LA at the 5/580 junction when all of a sudden: "Thunk". Oh oh, the battery light comes on red, no power steering, the a/c is blowing hard at 105 degrees. Right in the middle of literally nowhere if you are familiar with the area. After the initial freakout I figured the engine seems to be OK, and Westley is right up the road. Over the years I have seen a little shop at the top of a hill on the West side that looks a little junk yardish but recently (in the last 5 or so years) a "Diesel Repair" sign has been put up (with a white cross on top). I went up there fully expecting to be turned away because I have a MBZ $printer and NOBODY works on $printers, and expecting to be told this is for big rigs only. Lo and behold, Chris and Russ are in there tinkering with an engine on a stand. I received immediate attention as there were no other customers ahead of me; Chris checked out the VIN and double checked to make sure it was a Daimler vehicle while Russ pulled out the shredded serpentine belt (the issue) and discovered the part number. Boom, on the phone goes Chris, within 15 minutes here comes the parts delivery guy from Patterson right down the road, and within 15 minutes my serpentine belt had been replaced! From the time of incident to back on the road was literally 1 hour. I was fully expecting to be told it cannot be repaired until tomorrow (my birthday BTW, just what I would NOT have wished for) and to have to spend the night in the Motel 6 across the freeway. Chris and Russ are two of the most awesome angels along the I-5 corridor to be able to drop everything on a moments notice to take care of an emergency (for me) situation and get me back on my way. Five stars to Precision Diesel in Westley!
