A great course that I play 3 times a week. I travel from the valley due to the awful conditions at Encino and Balboa. Staff is friendly and even on busy Saturdays you leave happy to have played 18 holes. it is an executive course and a great place to enjoy your day.

I love this place. The lady behind the counter is so nice! And I also love the course itself. Well laid out and maintained. Just long and diverse enough to be challenging in a finesse sort of way. Harder than the recreational golfer might anticipate, which is a good thing. Looking forward to my next visit.

The chipping area is a disgrace. This course is always busy, especially the driving range so it takes in a lot of money. They do not put any effort into improving an area to practice short game. Encino/Balboa is much better

I’ve played this course 2x in the past 2 weeks and the first time I had a great experience (on a wednesday afternoon). The staff was friendly and finished the round in about 3.5 hours. I played the course again today (Saturday afternoon) and the staff was pretty rude to me. Not going to get into specifics but the first time around the pro shop employees were 2 young guys whereas today, they were 2 old guys that seemed to have a stick up their you know what. Course is great if you’re looking for a shorter course and available tee times.

The location is simply located of the 101 Fwy, yea, the greens are well taken care of and the staff is top class yea! Lights on the driving range, open late, open early if your feeling great. I recommend this place, and if you need a golf pro, I recommend Ross, he helped me fix one the the stiffest swings in the game and I can crush my irons now! All the best!

Westlake Golf Course is a challenging course but not a lot of elevations changes. Easy to walk or ride the terrain. The course is well maintained. I would like to see more yardage markers other then 200, 150 and 100 yardstick maybe on the cart path. The fairways are a little hard packed because of the rain. They have a large practice range and sand traps which you normally do not see at a public level golf course. All I can say is that this is a very organized and friendly place to visit and play. Snack bar and bar is open with a large indoor seating area available. The Staff are friendly and helpful. A Great place to play and practice your golf.

I was able to dodge the rainstorms and meet a buddy Sunday at 8am. The staff was cool, parking was decent and the price was fair. My only issue is the course was not suitable for play. Not a big deal, right. Everything was good except the actual golf. There was so much standing water on the fairways that it was really unplayable. Sand traps were a foot deep with water. Large puddles on the greens, too. My photos show what I had to endure. It's a nice course but not after a rain. I don't mind keeping my cart on the paths but it was a wasted round.

What's with their grounds crew?! Today a grounds person pulled a gas combustion engine sand grader into the sand trap right before I was to hit my ball out of it. Sand shots are hard enough. He left the engine running and got off the machine. I was getting aphixated from the fumes! Not to mention how wrong it was in so many other ways. I'm assuming he didn't care because I'm a female player. They also don't warn you when they're aerating the greens and set up faux greens. I play here because my brothers do, not because it's great. Also they could really improve their restaurant. Yuck! And their Marshal naps on the grounds which is actually kind of funny. Their guys and gal in the pro shop are great. Driving range is really nice. Basic golf course is ok. There's room for improvement.

It's ok, driving range has dead golf balls and you cannot tee up low, the tees are rubber ones that are extremely high that only usable with a driver cannot practice par 3 , 70 , 80 90 , 120 shots must be hit off the mat . Kind of defeats the purpose of practicing. Outside of this obvious it's just ok.
