I've been working out with Holly 1:1, 3 times a week, for about 3 months now and am so delighted! I sought out a trainer in a private gym because I had an injury/medical issue in 2016 that I never really properly recovered from & It had been stopping me from getting back into the gym on my own - I was concerned I'd injure myself because my body was out of balance & weak, and also it just felt overwhelming. I'm in my early 40s and feel more cautious than I did when I was in my 20s & 30s! So, I did some research & gave Holly a call. I started out interested in only private Pilates lessons, but our work has expanded to include strength training sessions on the gym floor. I'm starting to see results, which is awesome - my waist is trimmer, and I definitely have more muscle definition in my arms and legs. I also can tell I've gotten stronger - I feel that in my day to day life just doing regular stuff. Hiking, doing stuff in my garden, grocery store trips - I feel sturdier on my feet and a little more agile. One of my favorite moments in working out is when we discover I've gotten strong or confident enough to do a particular exercise I couldn't do before! And I totally appreciate Holly's expertise & judgement - she is cautious and always modifies or changes an exercise if something hurts or is off and I feel safe in that she won't have me do anything that's going to cause an injury. She is mindful of skipping positions that will unnecessarily strain my joints (like knees) and instead replacing them with exercises that will target the same muscle but be easier on the joint involved. I also really like Holly as a person - she's smart, patient, funny, kind, appropriately challenging. It's been fun getting to know each other and that also makes it better on the days I just don't feel like working out or am low energy for whatever reason. So basically, 10/10 - I've had a great experience & if you're interested in an experienced, pragmatic, challenging, and supportive trainer you should totally give her a call.

I am so glad I found Holly at SYNERG! Holly is the best! I have been struggling for a few years to get my body fit again due to lower back pain. I have been in a start and stop mode with working out, trying many forms of exercise and ultimately re-injuring my back. My physical therapist recommended Pilates. Since I've been working with Holly over the last 2 months I have seen a huge improvement! Holly is so kind and compassionate and works around my physical limitations, which are slowly diminishing. She is always watching to check my form and encourages me every step of the way. I can feel my strength building every week and no longer need the physical therapy sessions. Thanks Holly!

Holly, the owner, has been my Pilates instructor for about 7 years. She is by far the best instructor that I have had and is very honest and flexible with scheduling conflicts that may unexpectedly arise. During the pandemic, she was willing to do virtual sessions, outdoor sessions, or subject to county regulations, private sessions in her studio. If you want a private place to take Pilates and not the mega gym, this is the place as there is only one pilates instructor at a time and sometimes a personal trainer working with a client in the separate fitness room. Prices are very reasonable too!

Love my Pilates training sessions with Holly. Before we start she always asks if there are any problem areas I need to work on and tailors the session accordingly. The facility is clean, bright and welcoming. Beautiful location at The Landing in Westlake.

I have been training with Holly during my pregnancy and she is very hands on and attentive to my body and my needs! The whole space is so friendly and positive, it does not feel like a typical trainer experience. I highly recommend SYNRG Fitness for pilates and personal training in the area! <3

My husband and I have enjoyed Pilates classes with Holly for many years. Whether you are a beginner or experienced at Pilates, Holly will makes sure to adapt your class to meet your individual needs. She is so very knowledgeable, careful and kind to make sure you work out to your full potential so that the benefits will be the greatest. One of the best for sure!!

If you're looking for a quality personal trainer or pilates studio, SYNRG fitness should be your go-to! Great studio, with a clean and open layout, it's the hidden gem of Westlake Village. The beautiful view of the lake is just an added bonus when you're there! Highly recommend calling Holly and seeing this place for yourself.

I've worked with Holly for about 6 years now and she is both a great person and a fabulous trainer! We started off with Pilates and are now doing a combination of Pilates and floor work. She is extremely knowledgeable about many forms of exercise and is always very prepared for class with new twists to liven it up! She explains the exercises very clearly and we're able to sail through the class in a very enjoyable way. There is no question that I'm in better shape with her expert, personalized attention. Holly is also warm and funny and we always have nice chats. The private space is an added bonus and allows for a more relaxing time. I really look forward to this class every week!

I am a new Pilates student and Holly is doing a great job as an instructor. She is passionate, knowledgeable, kind and fun. She encourages me to workout between sessions and sometimes texts me gentle reminders to make sure I am on track. The studio is a relaxing, private and clean environment, and I love being there for my private session once a week.The building is next to the lake with other shops and restaurants and there is ample free parking. It's also a great place to start a walk or hike afterwards. I like to grab a coffee and healthy snack downstairs at Bonibi for my drive home.

I love the work out I get with Holly! I just started doing Pilates about six months ago and I’m amazed at what it’s done to my body. I highly recommend this gym. The one on one personal training really allows you to get the most out of your work out.

Holly is amazing! I have been going to her for over 4 years now and she has really helped my posture and to strengthen my core. She really listens to her clients and targets exercises to their problem areas. I also had a baby in these past 4 years and believe that continuing Pilates through most of my pregnancy helped both with feeling great throughout my pregnancy and getting back into shape quickly after the birth.
