Great place for the professional. As a DIY guy I needed some help. Thanks to Steve at WLV store for finding the part I needed.

Medium sized place, warm and stuffy during my visit and not well lit. Limited selection and no posted prices on any items. No baskets to carry your things as you balance them in your arms to dump them on the counter. The counter guy seemed put off with simple recommendation for sprinkler valve type, seemed to guess the prices off the top of his head though later looked them up but I didn't feel comfortable being in the dark until i looked at the itemized receipt. At the end of the day there were no savings, nor advice and they sell irrigation pipes by 20 ft lengths so going to HD anyway. If you're a repeat contractor it may be the place for you but the occasional DYI'er go somewhere else

Greg was very helpful in selecting items I needed to complete an irrigation project on Fri afternoon. There are too many items for the staff to know the prices off the top of their heads but they're happy to look it up. I can ask about any problem I have and they help solve it with the correct piece(s). I do bring pictures and/or measurements. I'm a loyal fan.

Medium sized place inside, as well as warm and stuffy during my visit on a summer day and not well lit. Must be energy conscious with the lack AC / lights. Limited selection and no posted prices on any items in the store isles. No baskets to carry your things as you balance them in your arms to dump them on the counter. The counter guy seemed put off with simple recommendation request for sprinkler valve type, he seemed to guess the prices off the top of his head until he looked them up to ring them up. I didn't feel comfortable being in the dark and had to ask about each item price individually which was met with more lack of enthusiasm. At the end of the day there were no savings, nor advice and they sell irrigation pipes only by 20 ft lengths so going to HD anyway. If you're a repeat contractor it may be the place for you but the occasional DYI'er go somewhere else

I work for Malibu Canyon Landscaping so I'm their quite a bit. Largest selection of landscape and irrigation products by far! Good counter people. Prices are reasonable but not the cheapest. However, they will match any price as long as you can provide proof. Julio the manager is great!

Mr. Julio Orellana, the manager for 13+ years @ the Westlake location,is fabulous and friendly. Bilingual is always a plus in business building and expansion in the community. He has answered for all my questions and is willing to help me problem solving the issues that I've presented. With multiple locations in California, Smith Pipe can service multiple communities in the GREATER Los Angeles area. Low flow irrigation heads are excellent way to save our precious water resources. Partnership with Las Virgenes Water District has provided learning channels for public education on water saving devices and tools. Support local merchants.

Excellent service. Very convenient even for the non-professional. They were the only ones to have the specialized faucet I needed.

Walked the aisles for several minutes around 50 minutes before closing with no acknoledgement or greeting. Fine, no prob. Then I went to the counter and waited. One employee walked by with his head down and made no acknowledgement of me.. Twice - once from the back to the front area and then to the back again. Ok.. um.. then another guy comes out, head nods at me but blows past me to talk to another guy that showed up at the counter after me that had also started walking the aisles after me. He just goes straight to helping him. I start to walk out and he says.. "Oh, were you here first?" He couldn't ask that when he walked by me the first time? You didn't ask before, but now it matters because I am heading for the door? Horrible attention to customers. If they don't know you, they won't try to help. Not a great business model for longevity.
