Fur-Ever Grooming
4637 Lakeview Canyon Rd, Westlake VillageIt’s can be challenging to find a good, reliable, professional groomer when traveling from out of town but I was fortunate to find Fur-Ever Grooming located near our summer rental. Paige gave my 5 month old labradoodle her first puppy trim and was super gentle with her - as she was my 10 and a half year old girl who tends to get nervous. Both dogs looked great after their respective groomings and most importantly I knew they were in capable hands.

Not only is the place squeaky clean and looks out of a canine vogue magazine with treats , little outfits and doggie treats but it’s the way she respects the dogs and loves her job.
It totally shows!
Our dog loooooves her and her salon because of the attention ( she never rushes but takes her time ) and of course those cool doggie treats she always gives him.
If you want a dog spa that won’t stress your pup , takes its time to trim nails, brush and trim in a leisurely fashion and pamper them to the kilts this place is THE PLACE to go.

Robert, Caitlin, Meghan & the rest of the staff at the Barkley were wonderful with Cody and made our having to leave town less stressful because we knew he would be well taken care of. Cody loves going to the Barkley! They are always cordial, no matter how busy they are, and prompt whenever we had a question about a bill or our "punch card"

Plus, we know and trust VCA (shoutout to VCA Animal Specialty Group) and their expertise.Everyone and everything at VCA Westlake Village is top-notch. From Shiela at the front desk, to Matt the technician, to Dr. Steve and Dr. Deul-- everyone was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. Apologies if I forgot to mention someone else.The same goes for the facility and the exceptionally convenient hours of operation.Between VCA and Trupanion (our pet insurance), we know that even the inherently stressful experiences of visiting a vet can make you feel like your fur children are in good hands.

We visited Gabi P. today for a weight check (which we totally aced... not! ?), and to get some bloodwork done to see if she can stay on her anti-inflammatory medication. Gabi was fantastic! She explained everything clearly and kept me in the loop when we needed a few extra tests. Plus, she sent us home with a bag of low-calorie Royal Canin kibble - fingers crossed Zelda gives it two paws up!

3575 Thousand Oaks Blvd, Westlake VillageDr. Anderson and his staff are fantastic. I had a very sick Sulcata Tortoise. I called approximately 20+ veterinarians trying to get an immediate appointment but was unable to for at least 5 days out. I was very afraid my tortoise wouldn’t make it. Then I found Anza Animal Clinic. They were able to get him in very quickly. Needless to say my tortoise is on the road to recovery thanks to Dr. Anderson and his staff.
Dr. Anderson and his staff are kind, empathetic and truly amazing. I’ve seen/met many veterinarians over the years, but Dr. Anderson is by far # 1 with me. I highly recommend Anza Animal Clinic.

She is so great with my 11 month old puppy and I was amazed at how well she trained him and also myself! She is so patient and pleasant to work with! Once I met her I knew my pup was in great hands! The food was authentic and had amazing flavors. I ordered the beef and lamb spicy jalapeño plate and it exceeded my expectations the food was actually spicy which I loved. Overall I loved this place and I’ll definitely be returning.

I was first amazed at how reasonably priced the sandwiches were and then I started talking to the owner and he was so welcoming and friendly. The sandwich and the bread were delicious and the pickles just sealed the deal!!

So, I knew they brought us to a legit place. It's very small inside, cozy, but so very dark. I couldn't see/read the menus, and when the food arrived, it was too dark to take any pictures or see much detail. BUT, the food tasted incredible. And we had a great lineup: - arancini - tuna crudo - chicken parm - chicken pistachio - bolognese And the grand finale? Butter cake! I have never had butter cake before this; no, not even CPK's. And our hosts on this night even said this butter cake is 2nd only to CPK's - - so I really gotta try that. But, wildly, since having the butter cake here, 2 additional people have randomly told me how good CPK's is. I'm just saying. Other reviews also mention how loud it is - which we found to be the case as well; people seemed to be getting louder and louder to be heard over everyone else. I had no issues with the service - maybe because they knew our friends, they were so nice, accommodating, and helpful. I'd definitely go back to this location!

The Westlake location is small, just like the others, but it's beautifully decorated and always buzzing with activity. It's a popular spot for young families who come to chill out and enjoy some delicious treats. The welcoming atmosphere makes it a perfect place to relax and indulge. Needed something healthy with a good amount of protein after working out, so I did a quick google search and ended up at The Nutrition Fix in Newbury Park! Had a fantastic, tasty peanut butter banana protein shake! It was delicious and gave me just what I needed, refueled, refreshed and plenty full! I noticed some people drinking other refreshments while chatting at the bar while I waited for my shake. I will be back for sure!

And we need her and her organization to continue. Right now she is working with an all volunteer crew. Hope she gets the funds to hire some permanent workers.

790 Hampshire Rd # H, Westlake VillageNot only was Valley Cats taking wonderful care of their animals when we visited; but after adopting our kitten, Morph, it became even clearer just how amazing they are. Morph was instantly comfortable in our home, friendly with our other cat and dog, and cuddling with us. He lays every moment he can in my mom's arms and on her chest. I'm so happy to have adopted such an incredible, often hilarious, cat, but more so I'm so grateful to know Valley Cats is providing such wonderful care to animals in need. I've never seen such incredible work at any other rescue, and i wish that ALL could be like this one. If you're looking to adopt a cat of any age, this is the perfect place.
