“SO i brought my truck here as i had an AC problem. This place was able to fix it same day. This is a young and efficient place to say the least. The quality and service can't be beat and the princes are reasonable. I have brought my wife's car here and they were able to fix it in an hour even though they were slammed. I have also had my sons car repaired here as well and it wasn't a cheap fix, but i did some research on the repair and it was tedious to say the least and its was worth every penny. Again, these guys are not the cheapest, but they are trustworthy and quick with the repairs. These guys are a no nonsense business and that is appreciated as honestly is difficult to find in a mechanic shop, period. I trust these guys and they are always busy, again a good sign of a good business. Trustworthy, fast fair pricing, great service. Try this place out you wont be disappointed.”

“I don't write a lot of reviews, but I really want to give this company a solid shout out. My family moved to this area about three years ago and we were sad to leave our trustworthy mechanic behind. The first place we went was in Westlake and we got an absolutely ridiculous quote for some basic work and multiple things that I don't believe needed to be done. Fortunately, my husband found this place.We both take our car is here now for regular engine maintenance and have had nothing but positive results.Also, on two separate occasions now, my car had mysterious mechanical issues going on. The people here could have taken advantage of me, but they did the absolute opposite. Repeatedly, they ran tests without charging me and ultimately solved the problems. The prices always seem reasonable and the people that work here, like Giovanni, are extremely pleasant and conscientious. I'm so happy we found this place.”

“I have worked with Shortees for over 20 years. Mike is the owner, and his wife Shannon is the office manager. They are the best shop I have had the pleasure of working with in Simi Valley since moving her 25 years ago. It is hard to find a quality service business of any kind where you know you can trust them, and they have earned my trust so many times that I would not consider going anywhere else for non-warranty work. But here is the best part: If Mike is aware of a service bulletin on your vehicle which you are asking him to repair, he will first send you to the dealer to ask them to take care of it. He has done this for me twice, without my asking, and he saved me $Thousands as a result, while other mechanics will simply do the work and charge you for it. I have not met anyone in the automotive industry who is as honest and trustworthy as Mike and Shortees Automotive!”

“Came in for an oil leak and coolant leak. They gave me a free inspection and let me know what issues were found. Let me know my oil pan bolts were loose and didn’t charge for me that. Honest mechanics and honest people. Never once tried to charge for something that wasn’t needed. Will be returning in the future.”

They called me and let me know they ran into unforeseen issues so it would take a bit longer. When I picked up my car, I was charged the same price as talked about, even though things had not gone nearly as smoothly as they wanted.The staff here was clear, communicative and honest.
