Horrible product! NuVet is essentially a pyramid scheme for breeders! They get a kickback from the manufacturer for forcing their new puppy owners to buy these for their puppies, and if new owners refuse the breeders will void their “health guarantee” contract of the puppy by claiming you didn’t take the “proper steps” to care for the dog. These vitamins have no proven effect, and not only that, but they’re more sodium than anything! My poor dog was on these for months and I couldn’t figure out why she was having trouble with peeing inside all of a sudden, until I realized she was wildly dehydrated from these wafers! As soon as I took her off of them, she stopped drinking insane amounts of water and hasn’t had an accident. Don’t bother with these! If your dog needs joint support, ask a vet for a vitamin. If they need coat support, use plain old salmon oil! If they need immune support, ask a vet for a trusted brand. Do not waste your money or your dogs health!

This auto ship stuff has to stop! You call, and it becomes an argument immediately, saying you can't get your FULL refund. Did I pay a partial payment for the products? Not very friendly individuals over the phone. Customers are ALWAYS, right! No customers, NO business.

I've been giving NuVet supplements to my dog Scout for over 3.5 years now. The breeder started her on these as a puppy and suggested I continue with them. Scout loves the wafers and she thinks they are a treat. I am pleased with the results... Scout is healthy and happy!

They don’t send out reminder emails and you can’t cancel online. I was charged at 5am and called by 7am when the customer service line opened and “there’s nothing they can do” to cancel it. I don’t know if there are high ups with this place but the lady on the phone wouldn’t let me speak to someone else about it.

They charge you a 20% fee on unopened products they need to be returned. And you have to pay to return it.
They are also not FDA approved. Don't use them. Breeders get a kickback on pressuring people to use them.

The breeder I bought my Lab from back in February of 2014 recommended NuVet Labs for my new puppy My Lab is almost 9 years old and still has the energy of a 1 year old. He shows no wear & tear on his hips of legs. Very happy with NuVet labs vitamins for my BFF Bogart! I will continue to give my dog NuVet Labs vitamins & supplements.

I got put onto Nuvet from a breeder. My dog wasn’t a big fan of it so I stopped using it. A year later, I got a shipment of several bottles of Nuvet and was charged almost $300. I emailed Nuvet saying I never ordered them and want to return the product for a refund. They told me I was on auto-ship and I explained I never signed up for that and never received any notification about it by email or mail. They didn’t give any explanation about why I was as put on auto-ship and could only refund me 80% because there would be a 20% destruction fee. I had to pay $35 to have it shipped to their US location, which they told me I had to do. Meanwhile, after it had been delivered successfully to them for over a month, I reached out yet again to follow up on my refund and was told I could have shipped to a Canadian location (which would have been cheaper since I live in Canada). They still haven’t processed my refund. And I find the whole thing just completely absurd and unethical.

Who cares about the quality of the product when you get scammed by them on auto ship. I canceled my recurring order and they charged me months later anyway without warning. The site says you have to call them to cancel, but that is nowhere near the auto ship setup info. Terrible customer service. Disorganized. Just file a credit card dispute and they will have to eat the charge back. What a waste of time. Take your business elsewhere.
Edit: a nice person from customer service said they received my cancellation request but never processed it. They refunded my last two orders, making me whole again.
Regarding the reply from the company: Upgrading my review but also note I did not reorder in April of 2024 since my vet told me the vitamins + kibble were too high in vitamins for my young pup. I moved and these didn't even make it to my house either time. You should send people auto-ship reminder emails a couple days prior like the almost everywhere else.

I’m not a dog breeder but I am a true believer in NuVet Lab vitamins. My family has been giving our dogs these vitamins for years and years and our dogs have lived long and healthy lives.
My childhood dog is 20 years old and acts like a puppy whenever she is given a vitamin. She will flop onto toys, chase after her sister, and trot around the house as if she was young again. Our other dog has had back issues in the past despite being much younger and when she is taking these vitamins, we see a dramatic difference in the amount flare ups.
I can’t recommend this brand enough!

We have bought NuVet Labs for 4 years now for our Aussie and I don’t ever have to worry about her coat or her health. She is never sick and her coat is always beautiful.
I had our autoshipment delivered for the year and it was marked delivered, and we never received it. I called NuVet Labs to let them know and ask if there was anything on their end they could do to maybe track the package. The customer service representative that I talked to was very polite and helpful and told me that every customer gets one free reship if they didn’t receive their package. I was so impressed by their great customer service.
We will be customers for life. Very impressed with the way this company handled my experience.

Please be careful with this products. I have a Maltese female, 4 years old. I gave this products 3 different times in 1 month,, different days, and every time she pops blood. She cried. Her belly hurts. I had auto ship, when the second bottle arrived I called to cancel and return. I told them what happened with my dog. Nuvet sayid "sorry" and refund 40% of myoney from the second bottle. Super bad product. Please be careful with your fur baby, it is not fair with the animal to have that experience. I'm a truly customer that I want to save your dog. Thank you.
