I went to this location while passing through about a month ago with my 14 year old daughter. There was an adult gentleman working that made my daughter feel uncomfortable. My daughter and I were located in different aisles and she sped to me to let me know one of the workers couldn't stop looking at her and smiled without saying anything while he looked "up and down". As I looked up the gentleman walked into the aisle, stared at my daughter then turned around when he noticed me giving a snarky face and pulled my teenager towards me. My kid was creeped out and we walked out briskly. I was going to complain to a manager but no one was located in front of the store so we just left. One thing to note is while a lot of teenagers my daughter's age might look more mature, that is not the case for mine. I didn't get the guys name but he was a taller, slender male likely of Hispanic decent. I would call or do something more concrete than a yelp review but there isn't much here for local authorities or even corporate. I am also a single mom and would like not to be in harms way. Thankfully we don't live there and can choose not to visit this store- I just had to say something in case someone else experienced something similar that can provide something more concrete.

Last night I went in after work you know and I was like hey I'm a bouncy ball collector and there's one in there right ? So I check the machine first like any kid would do when they were younger if there's any in the slot that way I can keep my quarter and get a free toy yk. The bouncy ball was just for fun in the front of the store, I then put my quarter after not seeing any and nothing happens I feel bad for the kids though cause they spent that quarter and then probably get upset about the fact that there is no prize. Or toy dollar store should fix their machines then I look at the cashier and he's just looking at me it's 9:58 and he's just staring like what r u doing I didn't wanna cause a scene so I didn't even ask for my quarter back I ain't no cheap person who needs a quarter I just wanted that bouncy ball for fun yk but the way the cashier saw it was me playing with his stupid machine as if a 20 year old man cares that much about getting a bouncy ball so I just left but he just looked mad as if I'm gonna steal or break his already broken machine. Dollar tree people don't get payed enough on the other hand the stores next to them weren't good either pet smart right next to them were incredibly rude and filled with ugly people I feel so bad for our kids and this garbage generation instead of being a good worker and saying how can I help you like I always am at my job he just looked at me as if I'm his enemy for walking into his store late at night terrible

Store is spacious, however, seems to be understaffed. Long lines at checkout. The yarn bin has been practically empty for the last 3 months. Although this is a nicer location and space, the Thousand Oaks store seems better managed. Indeed has a position listed for store manager here and the pay is less than $40k annually. Therein lies the problem. They need to pay more for decent, reliable management.

Omg who hired this guy that works here?? He gives off super creepy vibes! He is a young guy and I believe he is middle eastern! Everything I come here he asked me super weird things! I don’t feel comfortable! He is usually at the register. Please be careful when going in. You never know what someone is capable of. He also stares really bad!! Who is the manager here? Common!!

They close before closing time. I got there 20 minutes before closing and the doors were already closed. It’s not the first time.

I wasn't able to get the employees name but whoever the lady that worked Saturday night on 2-11-23 was extremely rude. She had dark hair and was the only employee on shift tonight. She told me I wasn't able to exchange 3 items I had previously purchased from them because I didn't have the receipt. I told her that I am able to do that if the tags and stickers are still on the items. I've done it before with them and it is on their website. She didn't care about what I was telling her and was blowing me off with a very rude attitude and demeanor. I dont recommend this dollar tree.

I had the worst experience at this store. Nancy was the cashier that night, she thought she could double charge me for an item because I was distracted with my small children. When I came back in to bring it to her attention she was very disrespectful and said " you were distracted, i told you I was ringing it up twice" Regardless of being distracted, doesn't give anyone the right to rip me off. As I gave up talking to Nancy, I went to grab the item I was double charged with.

Apparently their hours have changed but it is not reflecting on their website?! I went this morning at 8:30 ( they are supposed to open at 8) to purchase holiday gift wrap and had arranged childcare and time to wrap alone. When I got to the store there we other customers trying to get in. We were all RUDELY turned away with an employee screaming at us from the inside that they WON'T OPEN til 9. I know there is a major staffing shortage nation wide and I have no problem with Dollar Tree changing their hours. However, please update your website out of consideration for your customers and ask your employees to speak kindly towards others.

Great location, right next to Smart and Final, Staples and Pet Smart. Plus, this Westlake Village Dollar Tree has EVERYTHING. Very well stocked. It's a mini hardware + party + office supplies + storage + makeup + kitchen gadget heaven. My favorites here are duct tape (they even have “extra strong” and also colored duct tape), double-stick tape (a must-have office supply), microfiber towels (they are the best cleaning cloths ever. Just use water, no chemicals needed), touch-up painting sponges, and the best deal on helium balloons anywhere.

Awful customer service! Came in to buy cards. Went to the register was not even greeted, I had to greet her. She acted like I was a nuisance. I've worked customer service for over 30 years and wow I would be upset if my employees acted the way this employee did to me.....

Cashier sprayed repulsive smelling disinfectant FULL strength on the counter. Then tossed my change and items on top of it. Then, they laugh like heinas at the customers. The store itself is well-stocked and organized. Employees need to be taught how to be considerate and hospitable to customers, & shown some class.

Always fun shopping here, great stuff at even better prices. Some shelves are bare, but plenty of good stuff to keep your home and yourself clean and safe and plenty of things to make a good, tasty and inexpensive meal with.

I had an awesome experience shopping at Dollar Tree because of the incredibly helpful Mr. John M. He not only guided me to the correct section for all of the items that I needed, but he also helped me identify each and every item (there were about 15 of them). His knowledge of the store was full and comprehensive, and I found him to be very professional and friendly. Thanks again John!
