Of the two in Ventura county I like this Costco experience better than the Oxnard one.

HOT DOG!!! You just can't beat the price, value, and convenience of the Costco food court - a great all beef dinner Frank, fresh bun and drink for under two dollars! Sometimes I will bring my own homemade salsa for a great salsa dog! Quick, low dough and always consistent!!!

This Costco is decent. One issue I've had going is I think that they have been lacking in stocking some of my favorites. For example, the type of yogurts and granola that I've been buying for years suddenly is never stocked again. But anyway, they typically have everything I need. So it is a good spot to come and do your shopping.

The store is great, but why are the employees so grumpy? The cashier named Kenneth ( an older man) was downright rude and obnoxious to the woman in line ahead of me. He told her things like, "Next time you need to have all the barcodes facing up," and "Why isn't your card ready?" .The girl helping box items was moody and made comments as well.. The customer looked like she was going to cry. I gave him the death glare. He didn't try that with me.The woman checking receipts at the door was a surly person as well.

This is one of my favorite Costco's. The size is similar to the other Costco's, maybe a bit bigger, but it seems to have more space to move around and purchase the items you need. The parking is also a perk, as the spaces are more prominent and less crowded. You can usually get in and out of this location faster and easier than at other locations. The staff is friendly and will always be a great help.

Usually come here once or twice a month on a weekday an hour before closing -- that's where I found it to be less chaotic. Parking isn't as much of a headache here than in the Oxnard location which is why I drive up the gradeGrabbing essentials is a breeze, their floral section is also great if you love roses (2dozen for $19.99) makes great centerpiece for table settings. I usually do the self checkout line have not encountered rude staff from other reviews and pretty much left me alone for the most part. They don't carry much of the newer / seasonal items like the mini taiyakis or the starbucks sous vide otherwise this would be 5stars

What do I have to say about Costco?... I think they're pretty darn good! Great prices, solid professionalism and a reliable guarantee of satisfaction. Super friendly staff... Just it might make good sense to schedule an appointment if you're doing tires. Free lifetime tire rotations, free road hazard repairs + prorated credit if replacing. Oops... I probably sounded like a Costco tire promotional advertisement above. LolI bought tires here for decades, and today I'm in for a battery. It's just solidly reliable. I'm quite comfortable posting five stars.

What a humiliating and disturbing experience at Costco today. An employee scanned my card while in line and then proceeded to give me a sales pitch about how my membership sucked. "Oh you're just a gold member???" As people stared. Then asked why I didn't know how to use my app instead of using the card. I put my card away since it had been scanned. 30 seconds later the cashier asked where my card was and said I should always have it out and ready. I told her the guy already scanned my card. "He has nothing to do with me," was her response. It was all a sales pitch disguised as a checkout. What the hell Costco?

The Westlake Costco is maintained well with a sprawling and dedicated parking lot and plenty of selection in the warehouse itself, I feel they carry much of what you would assume are staples in any Costco. Plenty of rotisserie chickens, pantry items, medications, household items, etc. Generally if you go on weekday night (Mon-Thurs) you'll avoid crowds at this location. Given the area it serves it's usually packed during the day and like all other Costcos on the weekends. This one is kept well stocked. Their food court often needs some cleaning especially later in the day but their touchscreen and self checkout kiosks make ordering super helpful. My only thing is I've often seen Costcos in equally affluent areas have higher end products and this particular Costco I'm surprised doesn't carry more premium items given where it's located and don't carry certain staple items I've found at other Costcos. That's just my opinion though and likely the products they do carry sell well and so why mess up a formula that's already working?

Want to love Costco, but the food court has gone to pot. Wait times are terrible and some (Alex) is just plain rude to many people waiting. Probably not his fault, management needs to fix staffing, but he should not be rude to so many.

I used to love this store, but the last two times I was there I asked for a box for my groceries and bottles. The “box boy” said they were out of boxes so I left with a cart full of items.

Good prices on volume purchases for everyday items, good quality on more expensive purchases.

I have Never been treated so condescending and rude by any business in our area. The worst part, is the fact it was the store manager who was so ignorant. This company has become one of the worst companies in this past year. Uncaring, rude, arrogant staff.
