I needed to replace some front door hardware manufactured by Emtek and found Coast was the local dealer. Bob helped me when I walked in. Simple process. Everything is made to order by Emtek (they're located in Irwindale), so I should have what I need in about 10 days. Very reasonably priced. And kudos to the lady seated next to him for giving a great referral when I mentioned a door modification I wanted to look into.

BUYER BEWARE!!! Be sure to read the previous reviews! Truly I have never worked with a more rude and unprofessional business owner. Unfortunately we were referred to Coast Doors by a friend in the industry. We were looking to have our 2 patio sliders replaced. Just 4 months after installation, we had our 1st rain and our doors began to leak. There was no "Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry, we will get someone out there as soon as possible" It was "You'll have to wait until everything dries out so I can send our team to caulk around the doors" The installation team was sent out (Larry & Nick who were incredibly nice and professional throughout this entire nightmare). They caulked around both doors and claimed it was likely from the hot weather and the settling of our house. As we went through our very long drought season, we didn't have an issue until the rains started up again. We have had an unbelievable amount of leaking coming from directly through the doors nearly every time it rains (which is constantly now). The Installers have been out numerous times and cannot fix it. They tried to state the leak is coming from the inside of our attic...which it is not and we now have that collaborated by another professional. We have NEVER had one leak in the 21+ years we have lived here as original owners. Coast Doors has now decided it is "out of the scope of the job" and now our problem to fix! Can you believe this lack of customer service?? And Lynette please do not try and threaten to report me to Yelp. I have all the documentation to provide showing you are wrong. How many more reviews have to state how incredibly rude you are to your clients? It's time to listen up and change you customer service attitude!!

The Worst customer service! My request started on 8/8/22 for a fire door. I gave rough dimensions that would fit based on what they have to offer. I decided on a door design and requested a drawing/spec of the door with actual dimensions to provide to the contractor to build opening to fit the door. They told me I could not get the specs/dimensions of the door in writing on a drawing created with software but they could hand write it. I told them that this is for a city and it needed to be generated by a computer and could not be hand written. City's do not approve hand written documents. They/he did not care at all. As a General contractor I will make sure to never recommend this company. Oh, I had to keep calling them, they never retuned my calls.

They have a great selection and great staff to help with your window and door needs. Lynette helps me every time I need something and gets me the quotes in a timely manner in order to be able to give my customers the best service I can as well.

Needed to replace the door knobs and handles in my house. I could not find exactly what they were on the internet so I went in with measurements and pictures. I met Brooke and she walked me through the catalog with all the options. We were able to find the exact match and she gave my pricing. I went home to compare pricing on the web and this place was less expensive by over 25% and I would prefer to support local. I ordered everything and they came in less than one week. Very happy with Brooke every step of the way!!!

Customer service is lacking here, unfortunately. I ordered a beautiful front door- there were some issues with installation that were easily avoidable. Brooke was great to communicate with throughout the (very long) wait time, however the rest of the team could improve in this area. Unfortunately, can't recommend this business.

I couldn't be happier with how my doors turned out, 15 new interior doors and trim and also a front door. I worked with Brooke and she was wonderful! Very quick to respond and super helpful! The installers also did a great job! Overall the project went smooth and turned out fabulous. I'm amazed at the impact new doors, trim and hardware can have on your home. I would definitely work with Coast Door on future projects!

Terrible customer service. Terrible attitude. I called them to give them anof over $11,000.00 and walked away from giving it to them because of there manager who said "Well Sir that's just the way we do business and if you don't like it you don't have to do business with us." They wanted to charge me a $150.00 to come out and take final measurements of the windows and would apply the $150.00 as a credit when I gave them the order.I told them I would give them the $150.00 dollars when they came out and not before, that's when the manager said to me that's the way we do business so I walked for the order.Do not do business with these people they are just RUDE !!!!!Check out what others say about them too, Rude!!!

Very Very Rude People. I walked away from an $11,000.00 order because of there rudeness. To many other window company's around to have to be treated rude. Do not use these people. Glad I found out how bad they are before I gave them my order.

I went back to Coast Door since they helped me with hardware replacement and they seemed to really care. When I went in to get a quote on a decent size window and door project and they decided I wasn't important enough to be provided with an experience sales person. Of course the quote was done poorly and left me feeling like I wasted my time. Very disappointed...

Use another Door Company! Apparently, after you've purchased your door, they're DONE with you! My door was incorrectly installed by ONE of their installers and they argued with me that he wasn't their installer. Claiming their "paperwork" didn't state he was. As Lynette argued with me that I was WRONG and I was OUT of warranty, I wondered if if she even cares about the customer AT ALL. She failed to listen to me, failed to hear me out, failed to help me with my problem. I will go to a company that believes in "customer service".

Coast Door & Hardware completely came through when I could not locate the correct door handle for my new door. Will was helpful and quick in his research and reply! I am planning an upstairs remodel and will definitely use Coast Door & Hardware for the project! Yay for excellent customer service!
